This week I will be bottling up BA Viola Sofia. It has spent 3 months in a Jack Daniel Whiskey barrel on top of coco nibs. I am super happy with the taste of the beer. It was only 2 barrels that we filled so only about 350L. That is being split between Hill Farmstead, Ma Chei Siete, and Fanø. The price is still being worked out but I hope to have it for sale on the island by the first or second week of May. No bottles will be reserved for anyone and they will just be on sale for General public. There will be about 400 33cl bottles for sale on the island and I will post back when the day they go on sale is finalized along with the price. |
Sounds delicious. ISO both, if anyone should stop by Fanø at that time! |
Will any of these be at the Beer Fest in Copenhagen? Cause they really sound nice! |
Depends on yield but I lean towards no. |
I will be on the island next week... I know it’s early, but one might hope? :-) |

Originally posted by FrumptyDumpty Sure! I guess we could fit one or both into maybe our "barrel aged" tasting on May 2nd - or a later one if you want to release it first! - if your OK with that? I might also be able to fit a few for the masses into our tightly packed vacation car :-) |
Total bottle Yield on the Viola was 984 bottles and that will be split up among the three places it should be sold. Hope to have a price and offical day of sale soon. |
Any news Ryan? |
Status is the labels should be done by start of next week and hopfully they came from the printer soon after. I would say we are two weeks out and I will be happy to finally sell them. |
