Can't be arsed to look up my old thread.

So, Ascot Brewing has their new website up and running - of the 11 beers listed only three from the old Ascot Ales days have retained their original names (Anastasia's, On the Rails and Gold Cup) - the rest will presumably need to be aliased?

http://www.ascotbrewing.co.uk/our-beers/

I asked the brewery about the name changes on Facebook and didn't receive a response. However it's pretty obvious what the prior beers were (and some I've seen specified, i.e. see the Hampshire's Oktoberfest website)

Final Furlong = Posh Pooch

5/4 Favourite = Alligator Ale

Thoroughbred = Single Hop

Starting Gate = Alley Cat

Dark Horse = Penguin

Accumulator = Aardvark

On the Nose = Red IPA

Yankee = Rhino

Hi Mark. I have changed the Website link on here now for Ascot. I just need to clarify something with Admins before proceeding with the rest, shouldn't take too long.

Cheers. Glen.

Interested to see what the decision will be. Ready to delete my rating of Dark Horse to avoid issues, as I have also rated Penguin.

Here we go, started to alias these but now getting a page broken message for Ascot Brewery, doesn't look good at present.

Cheers.

Think it's just myself, yourself and The Osprey who'll lose a tick each.

It looks like when an Admin runs an alias where they have rated both, thus losing a rating, is when the page breaks. Something to be careful about in the future. Hoping to alias the rest of them at some point today.

When Dorking Defaulter's Pale was aliased to Pilcrow Pale it had a strange side effect. Bateleur's* rating transferred to some random US Imperial Ale.
