The article suggests that they've been in the town for 100 years, but not necessarily those premises. They obviously must be leasing them. Could be costly if they had to move - not sure whether it would cause them to fold. Disappointing if it did, but it may just be that the outcome would be extra costs, upheaval and sentimental loss. This ain't great either, but I guess it's possible the brewery could have a future somewhere else.

I hope it has a future somewhere because the beers I've tried were very tasty

it's not the brewery only the tap house and barrel storage. annoying yeah. and in no way do I like the drive to flats. but this story has been over blown.

Also the old brewery may have been there 100 years ago but the current one ain't been.

And having family in Finland, Estonia and Sweden, plus good mates in Germay, flats are the norm.

Not sure I get the point, I don't care if flats are the norm in Estonia, I just enjoyed drinking Dirty 69 at the Lovibonds tap room and won't be able to if the flats get built! :)

Sounds like it would be a bummer.

It was a reference to the prior post.

Been to Henley twice in recent years but the nearest I got to beer was breakfast in the Spoon. Next time hopefully get to Lovibonds next time:-)
