What a useless article. Why use reviews to show how bad something is (Green Fern), and then dismiss it with "main gripe ... that the head was too weak." That was hardly the main gripe in that review! More amusing, the Schneider Edel-Weisse hardly has a bad score, and the review he pulled was a positive one. Criticize our reviews and then don’t even review them yourself? Lame. |
Dude’s a moron. |

Seems like he has a macro mentality. To his peers, he’ll appear weak if he shows any sign of sincere interest so it’s best to be vague and ignorant and say something like "decent feed" and avoid the point entirely. |

Guys, you have to remember this bloke is a Queenslander. They spell beer XXXX. |
Hmmm...I see his email address at the bottom of that article... |
Irony: this guy picks his words carefully as to try to make the RateBeer community sound uneducated. |
Bad article. Look at Robert Parker (wine) or Michael Jackson (beer, duh) ... both of them are professionals at writing about what they drink. Parker’s writeups can make or break a vinyard, Jackson probably holds similar power. I wouldn’t put that down. I’d accept it or aspire to it. I don’t like wine nearly as much as beer, but when someone can describe wine in words I respect it. |
personally i think if you are a journalist you should be able to write in correct English (this shop has "attained" (!?!) the right to sell beer?) |
