11 reviews for Taco Mac (Alpharetta)
barleynhops (2), Alpharetta, Georgia does not count - explanation | | August 8, 2008 The beer selection is great, a little pricey, but it depends on your flavor. | | daknole (90), Plantation, Florida | | June 5, 2008 good selection of bottles, including some good atlanta brews. food is pretty good and service is a tad above avg. | | wetherel (80), Encinitas, California | | May 25, 2008 Lots of bottles and taps. Very few macros, and yet I still had trouble picking out what I wanted. Partly because I didn’t want to order 22oz bottles. | | unclemattie (104), Georgia | | February 13, 2008 Located in the Publix Shopping center right doen the street from 5SN. Same food, same service. Family Atmosphere. | | Aurelius (89), Tallahassee, Florida | | January 26, 2008 Stopped by on a cold January evening. Good parking around back. Patio out front for better days than this - right on the corner of the plaza, so you could watch people and traffic. Homey sports bar feel inside. The wait staff was a little distracted due to the great We’re Out of Tanqueray Crisis of 2008. 300 bottles, 100 taps - who could consider that anything but a great selection. Food is pretty good, nothing too fancy. I had the tortilla soup and a chicken sandwich and it was both filling and tasty - served up hot and promptly. They have a pint night on Thursday, so if anyone’s still lacking a few pint glasses... | | craftbeerdesign (16), Alpharetta, Georgia | | July 12, 2007 [ Updated April 9, 2009 ] Very good beer selection... the list does change from location to location.... so what you see on their website may not be at a particular location. My one huge complaint about Taco Mac, is that sometimes they don’t serve the beer in the proper glassware and it is always too cold (as they chill their glasses) anyways, if you can look past their lack of understanding, it is a great place to find a ton of beer on tap and in bottles. | | da845 (16), new york, New York | | March 11, 2007 not bad for some beer and food. a nice mix of types..... however they dont have ALL the beer they claim | marksahara (9), Atlanta, Georgia does not count - explanation | | December 25, 2006 Just like every other Taco Mac, IMO, except that the selection of beer does change location-to-location. If you’re looking for a specific micro, it could be hit-or-miss, although they do have a large selection of macros and micros on tap and in the bottle. Great place to go to watch a game with friends if you’re not into drinking the macros at a typical sports bar. Food isn’t all that spectacular but I like having the option of wrapping up burgers in tortillas instead of in a typical bun. Service is pretty timely, but servers are not usually knowledgeable about the beers there, although some bartenders are, but again that’s a hit-or-miss. Worth checking out if you’re in the Alpharetta area. | SwedeDog (5), Windsor, Connecticut does not count - explanation | | December 23, 2006 Ok, I have a small problem with the menu at this place. They advertise having over 200 beers, but when you look at the menu, there are no prices next to 2/3 of them, meaning they don’t have them at this time. You know, just about any bar could do the same thing. "You want Stille Nacht? Sorry, it’s not in stock now." That said, they did have a good selection of taps and bottles. A good amount of TVs surround the area. If you’re in the area, it’s worth a look. | Run2Drink (1), Alpharetta, Georgia does not count - explanation | | June 22, 2006 Lots of taps, knowledable beer staff |
