If you are looking to try beers from all over the world, this is the place to go. They had 17 beers on tap but over 360 different bottles in their "cellar". Most of the trappist ales were available here. The beer menu is extensive, well organized, and easy to follow. Another thing that impressed me was that each beer was served in the appropriate type glass. The only negative was that all of the beer was cold. They really should keep some of it at "cellar" temperature. Our server, John, was outstanding and knowledgable, especially about the beers. His recommendations were on point and we loved drinking some of what he suggested based on our likings. We sat outside and ate "pub food" that was tasty, well-prepared, and reasonably priced. On Sunday’s, a reggae band plays wonderful music to listen to while you dine and drink. I had the opportunity to speak with Tom, the owner, on my way out. He was very knowledgable and friendly. I highly recommend this place to all beer connoisseurs. I will be back again many times over.

Even though this establishment is really out of the way, it’s one that must be visited. The beer selection alone is worthy. When I stopped by, finally for the fist time, I was greeted with Sierra Nevada Anniversary, two Founders beers, Spatan and a couple of Belgians. The bottle selection is even more impressive. The service from the bartenders was top-notch. They were friendly, knowlegable and didn’t rush you. They even recommended a few selections for me to enjoy. I didn’t eat on this fist visit, but the food that passed by me looked very delicious. Even on a Sunday they had a live band playing some Island-inspirated music. I had a great time, if only for two hours. I’d love to visit here again. UPDATE: This is now one of my go-to places for beer, and for food! I loved the place so much that I had to take my wife, and she even loved it. Now she’s asking to go back every now and again. I have to update my rating on just the food. Obviously the beer is the biggest draw, but the food ain’t bad either! Get the wings! If you love hot and spicy stuff, order the wings. They are absoutely top-notch! I had the C-13 wings, the hottest they make. I love hot food and can take a great amount of spiciness, but these had me in tears and sweating. And they were incredibly delicious! The crab quesadillas are awesome too. Now, don’t just go to drink; go to eat, as well!

Very good selection of bottled beers (but no Ukrainian beers which is what I was specifically looking for). While I’ve heard about the poor service, we sat at the bar and got great service and lots of knowledgable suggestions from the bartender. They need to turn up the music a little bit once the older folks have left after dinner and its the drinkers left at the establishment.

This place is in the middle of nowhere. However the beer selection is really nice. They definitely have the best beer selection in the area. But it is in the middle of nowhere. So, decent place, but I won’t be making the long trip to get here. Oh yeah, and they don’t take credit cards.

We are lucky enough to live close. A few years ago the waitstaff was a mix of blue plate waitresses and beer geeks. Now they all lean heavily to the beer geek side. Tom can answer pretty much any beer question you toss him, and keeps the place well stocked. The food is good but after a few years of going there we are hoping that some new menu items will show up. (The specials are normally very good). Take cash and plan on spending a while, once you see the tap and bottle list, you will want to stay a while.

I stopped here for dinner this weekend with my girlfriend, my cousin, and his wife. I had been here once before for drinks. Beer selcetion is excellent, with many bottles and drafts that i have only previously seen at Monks and Capones. I was happy to see RR Temptation and Supplication bottles. Food was good, especially the wings. Food was good. There were a few people smoking in the bar area, but i did not find the place overly smoky. If i lived a bit closer i’d be here every weekend. Great Place.

Large beer selection to suit any palate with a very knowledgeable and attentive manager (Tom) and bartenders to aid in your selection. The food was fantastic, we got the special, which was a mediteranean sea bass. My wife and I were looking to try a new place and took a chance here even though we were warned that the servers sometimes sucked. Our server was fantastic (and she told us it was her first night there) and is about 25% of the reason we are going back.. so don’t let previous ratings of the servers stop you from going. Definitely don’t miss this place, it’s a great find and one of our new favorites.

Nice place in the middle of nowhere. Nice beer selection (tap & bottles). Service sucked. Didn’t see the waitress for 1/2 hour stints. Ordered the chili which was pretty good. Cash only which is another down side. With the poor service, I would still give them a try again (if the service was good, I would have rated it higher - if I had a $1 for every time she said sorry, I’d eaten and drank for free). Day after posting this review, I was contacted by the manager who explained they were short staff and had computer problems. Certainly no excuse, but I thought it was a nice gesture and shows that they genuinely care about their customers. I will re-rate when I return.

WOW! What a place. 17 beers on tap. And for the most part, these are real beers!! Upwards of 300 beers in bottles. A truly amazing variety of bottles. Tom the owner is a true beer guy. Gave us a Dragon’s Milk to try and threw in a few extras when we were leaving with our goodies! This place is definitely a bit out in the middle of nowhere, but if you are anywhere near the area, you must go here. Highly recommended!

What a find. Great bottle selection with some vintage stuff as well as just about any craft/Belgian beer you can get in PA. If they bottle it and ship it to PA (even if it’s some of the Heavyweight stuff they only bottle 30 cases of...this place has it). 17 taps and closing in on 300 different bottled beers. The manager Tom really knows his stuff and will take the time to chat with you. Just let him know you are a beer geek. Heck the night we were there he busted open a bottle of 1980 Courage Russian Imp Stout and shared it with everyone in the place that was there for the beer. Granted it was a very small sample, still was a very cool thing for him to do. Food was standard English Pub fair, but very well done. Why can’t this place be 10 minutes from my house instead of 40? Either way this is going to be a place I try to get out to once a month or so for dinner with the family and some great beers. Oh they also have a great patio (we went int he winter though so it was not open). As well as a big stage outside for live entertainment.
