2 reviews for Windham Wines
| altonbrownd (77), Amsterdam, Netherlands | | February 26, 2009 Pretty impressive beer selection for what is essentially a wine shop in a small town. They have McNeill’s and good national beers like Rogue. | | nramsburg (15), New York, New York | | November 29, 2008 WIndham wines is, first and foremost, a wine bar. That said, it does an admirable and respectful job of catering to those who like beer. Beer isn’t the focus of the menu, but it’s not an afterthought.
Service here is better than anywhere else in town. The bartenders and waitstaff are knowledgeable and helpful, never pushy yet always aware.
The wine store adjacent to the wine bar (which I was reviewing above), has blossomed into a well-stocked and interesting beer store.
A must see in Brattleboro, and an asset to southern Vermont. |
