July 18, 2009 Like taking a step back in time. Situated on the platform of the preserved Severn Valley Railway, offering a fine selection of local and not so local independent beers, along with 2 ciders, a draught Belgian ale and a good number of European bottled brews. The walls are adorned with old railway memorabilia from a bygone era. Relaxing, peaceful and atmospheric and good value - Hobsons Best Bitter at £1.90 a pint and I had a 5.9% brew priced at £2.40, which was pretty reasonable, I thought! |
