This gets a reasonably high rating for the fact that it is the only dedicated beer bar in Brisbane. Tap selection is ok and reasonably priced. Bottle selection is good , but very pricey. I would say stick to the taps. I went on a thursday evening and it was practically dead, although the average looking pub next to it was quite full. Going for an upper class ambiance, which I don’t think sits well with beer drinkers. Still it’s the best option in Brisbane (as far as I know) for a beer dedicated bar. P.S They only post the tap list (or bottles for that manner)on their blackboard - no website updates, which is a bit piss poor. Also the tap list has been very poor lately.

the best beer pub in the CBD, great ambience but sadly is often closed and expensive. Meantime and good old Thorogoods Billy Bs Apple beer are stocked and its got a rotating range of micros on tap (including some locals). The bar staff are either really good or average. It is located next to the Drinx Bottle shop which is also pretty good.

Located outside Central train station (Grand Central Hotel), the PB has a decent range of Aussie micros available with seasonal’s on draught regularly. The best beer bar in Brisbane, only downside is that it’s quite expensive but still a great relaxed place to stop for a brew and meal during the week.
