Visit on a trip to western NY for a Weeding in June 09 - They carry several beers not available in my neck of the woods and most are available as singles so I was able to try several different brews because of this that a southern Illinois guy would probably never have the opportunity to enjoy - very clean store - I will definitely be back if I am ever in western NY again

Parking friendly store well located in an ugly commercial part Buffalo. The beer section is actually rather small in square foot but is tightly packed and uses high shelves. You really get a surprisingly large selection for so few square foot. Not really pleasant to shop at because it is so tightly packed. Standard NY state selection but it doesn’t compare to the best eastern NY state stores like Half-Time and New Beer in NYC. Even Albany has a better selection. It’s unfortunate that the eastern NY state breweries (Captain Lawrence and friends) do not make it there. Solid American selection (no rarities), medium Belgian selection, non-belgian import selection (English, German, etc.) is sub-par but who cares. Probably the best western NY state beer store by default.

Premier Gourmet is a fantastic location in Buffalo and a relatively short drive from the Toronto area. The selection is very large and shows a great deal of thought, especially the handful of vintage beers cellared for several years and shelved side by side for comparison tastings. All six pack items can be purchased as singles; great to create custom six packs often at about two bucks a bottle. The selection of US micros is fantastic and well priced. Imports are often a bit more expensive, but include some true gems. Earlier this year they had bottles of Alesmith on the shelf, and on my most recent visit I found some Mikkeller Brunch Weasel. Terrific! The rest of the store is excellent too: great looking cheeses, meats; they keep crystal Riedel glassware out on the shelf like they’re worth nine dollars (not ninety). Some staff are very knowledgeable and wonderfully friendly, helpful.

Great beer selection. Website beer list was not updated in a while. Store it self looks a bit dated. Service id around is helpful. Average prices, plenty of singles is plus.

For us Canadians, this place is like being in a candy store! Selection is dynamite! Not sure what official total is, bu tmust be close to 500 different beers. Love ability to get a couple singles of wide assortment. Great selection of American micros and euro imports. Rated service low, because I’ve never really needed any and most people seem more focused on other sections of the strore. I go out of my way to get here, every time I go accross the border!

WOW, what a selection!! The prices area little high on some of the beers, but the store is catered to a high end clientel, soI understand.

One of the few places in western new york to find craft beers. Quite a large selection for a smaller store. Wouldn’t expect the selection and variety at first glance. Also a large selection of specialty food items.

interesting place. beer was in the back corner of a grocery store that i would not have bought a thing from. selectiopn was great as was the service. seemed pricey but this was first time buying beer in the states. ill be back to this store.

This place is awesome! Huge selection of beer from this part of the country. I would have spent twice as much if I didn’t have to haul it back across the country. I was glad to see they sold everything in singles too. One of the better bottle shops I’ve visited.
