Excited to come here . Disappointed. Nice location my the Pier, but the selection of beer was bad, and there was nothing cold. I would not recommend this place or return to it.

This place is more of a wine place. Nothing too special here, went in to look for Dreadnaught, did not find it. Looked also for GI bourbon Stout, no luck either. Selection is small, no parking, staff had no clue about any of my questions. Did not like this place.

Stopped by on April 29th 2007. Smaller wharehouse kind of feel. Beer selection is not large but does have most of the players that are found in the City. Prices, as said earlier, are reasonable. Found Three Floyds Black Sun for 6.99. In Schaumburg this is selling for 7.99. For example.

Quite a genteel wine, beer, and liquor store. In a high-class area of the city. Surprisingly prices on most of the beer is cheap, especially for the city. Six-packs of sierra nevada were on sale for $6. Selection is pretty good though nothing you can’t find at Binny’s. However, it is cheaper than binny’s. Imports are pretty meager. All things considered there is a fair selection, nothing outstanding, but I would tire of it quite quickly. Very classy store with lots extras for drinkware and party kind of stuff.

added for the east loop and streeterville and maybe gold coast crowd, for which binny’s is a bit far. this is a nice establishment that does have a reasonable collection of quality beers. it’s unlikely you’ll spot too many "finds" that wouldn’t be at other places selling micros and crafts (like binny’s), but you’ll still get something good. usually have 3floyds, Rogues, several Bells, several Sierra Nevada. got a $6 Old Rasputin and a $6 FFF Brian Boru... also have some typical Belgians, Germans, and a few Japanese and English ones I hadn’t seen before, but seemed unspecial. Bell’s Third Coast Old Ale was $7.50 a 6pack and they had one from a 1year old batch and one that was 4 months old. I asked the staff how the beer is kept and he said in a refridgerated dark cellar. big up.
