A new addition to the Clinton, Iowa HyVee store. The biggest HyVee liquor store that I have been in, selection is pretty good, micros and macros from N.A., Europe, Japan, and Australia, maybe more, a far larger portion is devoted to wine and spirits. Not too much rare stuff (Boulevard Smokestack series is about as rare as they have, other than maybe some micros I havenever heard of), but a decent number of micro 6 packs, and a mix and match 6 pack section. The mix and match could have a better selection but they may let you choose beers that are not there and split up your own 6’er. Employees are friendly and a couple seem pretty knowledgeable. I have noticed beer books near the counter so maybe some of the employees are studying up! Prices are mostly excelent, but there are a few that seem out of line. |
