6 reviews for Cocoa Beach Brewing Company
| Triples (12), , | | September 27, 2009 A fine little brew pub. Our local brew club (SAAZ) met there and pretty much overwhelmed the place and the air conditioning. They only had one beer on tap by the time I arrived and it was a lite beer. It was good. | | satan165 (62), River Grove, Illinois | | September 6, 2009 visited on a weekday, arriving before opening. ended up sitting for two hours with owner/brewer chris discussing beer and life in general. ambiance is a 5 -- but as comfortable as it is it could just as easily end up totally awkward if chris wasn’t such a great guy. can’t wait to get back around his way and stop in for a pint! | cmillward (6), Orlando, Florida does not count - explanation | | August 30, 2009 A tiny little place, currently brewing with a 15 gal RIMS system. 4 taps. 3 were house beers when I was there. Laid out with bar and tables in one room and the other room is more like a living room to relax and talk. Just getting started, so no real food yet, had some general store snacks and cans of soda available. Kid friendly. Located 3.5 blocks south of where A1A splits, so easy beach access. Excellent service, Chris and his wife are knowledgeable and excited to share their passion with whoever comes in, so people just looking for yellow fizzy beer got samples of all the house beers and a little info about beer styles and the raw ingredients. I’m excited to see where they take this place. Will definitely return. | | unclemattie (104), Georgia | | August 9, 2009 A sweet little place. Very homely, no pun intended. Chris is a great dude! He is very knowledgeable about beer, loves his new job, and loves his country. I loved talking it up with this dude, Amen brother. The beer they had to offer was in short supply. With it being a new place and with really good beer... well supply was short with demand being so high. In the two visits over a tree day span, they were flipping through the kegs. Good stuff! Big living room area to sit and chill, watch TV. Even my little daughter enjoyed the place. Overall, a must stop when on the east coast of Brevard Co. | | hopscotch (152), Vero Beach, Florida | | July 21, 2009 A quaint little place tucked away in a seaside/military community. Near plenty of public beach access. Looks like a residence... very homey. Chris couldn’t be more nice or humorous. There were only three beers on tap when I visited, but they were fairly solid. There is currently no food offered. I look forward to visiting this place again in the future when there is a larger selection to choose from. Food, even pub fare, would be a nice addition as well. | | patsfan13 (10), Cocoa, Florida | | June 18, 2009 [ Updated August 26, 2009 ] They just opened this pats weekendƖ-12-09) I’ve been twice in the past 2 days. The Pale Ale is awsome. I could give you a review of the other beers but I havent made it past the Pale Ale, But I will.
If you live in the central brevard, Fl. area it’s worth the trip to Cocoa Beach for the beer. |
