One of the greatest liquor stores in Southern California. Along with all the regulars and a great keg selection, This locations has plenty of Stone, Alesmith, Lost Abbey, Russian River, Hair of the Dog, and a great Belgian selection. Really just about everything you were looking for stored cold.This is also the best location for caviar in Orange County (to accompany your Imperial Stout of course).

Everytime I go to SoCal, if I’m in the area I stop by Hi-Times. The wife loves their tequila and I could spend an hour perusing thru the walk-in cooler looking (and freezing) thru everything they have. A really nice selection, prices are pretty decent and they allow you to break up a sixer (for a price). If you are near Huntington Beach, or anywhere else in Orange County it’s a must stop.

Two things. This is an alcohol emporium. Most of the beer is kept cold, which is great. I think everybody has covered the details here. I like that beers rotate and move. Freshness is a nice aspect of the beers offered here, in my book. Prices are fair, selection is broad. Organization could be a little better. Ask if they have anything on the shelves that isn’t out and they’ll go in the other cooler and show you treats like Consecration.

Simply a great liquor store! Hi-Times pretty much has it all. A huge spirits selection, an enormous wine cellar, and a chilled, walk in beer room. If it’s available in Southern California, I’d bet that Hi-Times has it. Staff is knowledgeable and prices are very reasonable.

Proud that this is my 100th rating. This is a great place for a couple reasons. First, it’s a real nice warehousey feel they have going on (walk-in fridge and all) which reflects on the pricing. Second, the service is impeccable. They even special order beers, which I imagine is very handy. First place I found some of the less common Hair of the Dog beer in California, and the last place I saw the original recipe of Olfabrikken Porter.

Online order. The overall experience was excellent. Their website isn’t flashy but gets the job done and is easy to use. The shipping rates, which are available right on the website, are very reasonable and certainly no more than it would cost me to ship the same box. They called to confirm the day after I placed the order and shipped that day. Email confirmation with tracking as well. From California to Florida the entire transaction was done in a week. Selection/Quality is excellent with some of those west coast brewers, such as AleSmith and Port Brewing, I can’t get here. I can definitely recommend their mail order system!

Tough to get to this place, arrive rush hour as the Newport area is a madhouse! Huge wine and beer warehouse stocked to the gills with goodies. The beer section is separate to the left, with a huge walk-in cooler. This place is busting with great beer from Cali, US crafts, and international. Picked up bottles of Radar, Moylan’s Hopsickle, Brewdog Paradox, & Avery Ale to the Chief. Very friendly and beer-smart staff were helpful and attentive. A virtual beer mecca that rivals Holiday Wine for the best selection I’ve seen in SoCal!

Always A pleasure going here. Usually a nice selection, I always find something I can’t find anywhere else. Picked up the Signature Ale (Lost Abbey collaboration) and several others. Most everything is kept in cold box with some sale items on display in the warm area. Knowledgable staff, always willing to help out. One of my fav’s whem I get out to O.C.
