November 7, 2009 [ Updated November 8, 2009 ] Went for a motorcycle ride on a warm November day. Easy to find location on Wayne street with lot and street parking. Remodeled building with bar in the middle back wall. Two coolers of beers with good selection and 10 taps. Freindly staff and Karen was quick with a beer, food order and a good selection of hot sauces. Menu of bar food, sandwiches and apps. I had avery good corned beef on dark rye. Enjoyed the visit and will return when in the area. |

August 4, 2009 This is a great neighborhood restaurant/tavern in the city of Dayton. Nothing pretentious or fancy about it and that’s what I like. It’s not a beer mecca but the selection is solid with what seems to be a steady flow of Bell’s and Great Lakes beers. |

November 21, 2008 I have been frequenting Tank’s for quite some time now and they are always getting new beers and have a pretty darn good selection. You will definitely be able to find a beer to enjoy here. This place is a great value for quality bar fare and will help you to grow your beerbelly. From Tank’s "Roadkill" Chili to the Sandwiches, you should not be disappointed with anything you order. I like all my sandwiches (burgers included) grilled on Tank’s sourdough. Tank knows good food and you may see him there... he’s one of friendliest and one of the biggest guys I’ve ever seen. |

May 8, 2007 Decent atmosphere, usually has Great Lakes Burning River on tap which is a plus to me. More selection of bottles then most bars around Dayton. Make sure you sit at the bar though because service isn’t as good when sitting at a table. Most staff at least know a fair amount about what they are selling. Probably my favorite bar in Dayton. |

May 8, 2007 A good place in Dayton for a beer. Has the normal macros and also 3 or 4 good micros. Usually has a Barrell House, Great Lakes and many times some Bell’s, as well as others rotating. Great food. the staff is friendly and helpful if not always that knowledgeable. Has a decent bottle selection. Nothing exceptional, but a very solid lineup. Depending on the time of day it can be a good place to watch a ball game, or a loud place full of college kids. My favorite bar to hit up when I’m in my hometown. |
