| kiefdog (101), Tampa, Florida | | November 7, 2009 This was the closest store to our hotel during GABF 2009, so this was our one and only bottle stop. Being from Florida, we thought the selection was very good given that there were a slew of beers we would have liked to buy but just didnt have the time to pack and ship home. Saw beers from most CO craft brewers, Lost Abbey and other CA brewers and a reasonable selection of belgian and other foreign beers. Definitely worth a stop when in Denver. | | KAggie97 (152), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring , Texas | | October 14, 2009 Big store but not indicitive of the beer selection. Still, what they do have is high quality and worth the tirip if you’re in the neighborhood. GABF week, ’09. | | Poperinge (119), Cowtown, Alberta | | October 12, 2009 Pretty impressive and blocks from our hotel at the GABF. | | presario (105), Calgary, Alberta | | October 10, 2009 Big store but I had expected a lot more selection. Did not seem to have a big selection of local craft seasonals and specials and not even the full range of many Colorado brewers. | | fly (190), austin, Tejas, | | September 30, 2009 Too many liquor stores and not enough time nor money. | | notalush (157), Denver, Colorado | | August 17, 2009 [ Updated September 11, 2009 ] Huge store in the Capitol Hill area of town - mostly focused on things besides beer, and the beer coolers, while they take up a big chunk of the store, are mostly filled with macros - a decent, but not entirely extensive selection of micros - a smattering of imports on one tiny section of shelving in the store (ie. import selection needs work) - kind of unimpressive, especially considering its size - the guy selling barbecue ribs in the parking lot made things a lot better, though - we need a better bottle shop downtown. | | jbye4334 (44), Colorado Springs, Colorado | | July 12, 2009 Large building, with a wide selection of liquor and wine. Beer selection was good, but not great. Got a couple bombers that are hard (but not impossible) to find locally. Friendly staff, decent prices. | | ¾ (599), Colorado | | April 14, 2009 Decent US micro selection but not comprehensive. Some warm, some cold. Belgian selection needs work. Prices average with a few surprising sales noticed. | | verymerrymonk (13), Cincinnati, Ohio | | March 30, 2009 Very liquor/wine centric store in a seemingly recently renovated building. You have to search for the micros, which consist of a few shelves of singles on an oddly placed shelving system and in a few coolers in the back right corner. Was able to get some Pliny and other "not in Cincinnati" beers. Very good staff. I really enjoyed the place. | | theisti (114), Leawood, Kansas | | December 22, 2008 [ Updated May 15, 2009 ] I used to live near this place, and was certainly my regular big purchase liquor store. As others have mentioned, this place is great for wine and booze, less so for beer. Beer selection is hit or miss, and is scattered throughout one side of the store. The help is attentive, though not terribly knowledgeable about beer. In the past, this place was a real dump, but they recently opened a brand new store next to the old one, and its quite nice now. This place is OK, but it could, and should, be great. |
