January 21, 2008 Before visiting Dusseldorf, I thought only beer geeks would care about which places still brew and which ones don’t. I was wrong. The locals care too, and they pack the handful of places that still brew on premises. This isn’t one of them. But guess what? Fuchsen is brewed just a few doors down, and that’s what they serve here. So if Fuchsen is too crowded for you and it was for us you might actually find a place to sit at Uel. The beer tasted good here too. The food looked excellent, although we didn’t give it a try. |
