one of my favorite places to pick up beer on the way home. located very central downtown, this is the closest to a diamond in the rough. quite average and sub par places around it. this is mainly a wine store, so they have a limited area for beer (about 20-25’ of cooler wall). the beer they do bring in, is quite decent. they are usually changing up what they do bring in for imports and stuff that i’ve only seen at sherbrooke. staff are quite friendly. very reasonable prices. they put on a beer tasting event every summer, that is a good intro to those that want to try beer they normally wouldn’t want to spend full bottle/case prices for.

Probably not the largest selection of beers in Edmonton but right up there in terms of quality. The list of beers available on their web site will confirm this. A really nice surprise in a city where I was not expecting a good variety of beers.
