Bricks (3), does not count - explanation | | November 8, 2009 Can’t ask for much more -- they even have specialty beer sales, a rewards club, and a web site complete with searchable inventory. | IrsLuver (1), Maryland does not count - explanation | | October 24, 2009 Perhaps the best beer selection I have ever seen!!Foreign, domestic whatever you are looking for they most likely have it. | | savnac (57), Palmer, Alaska | | October 7, 2009 Right off the highway, real easy to stop by if your in the area. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but the inside is amazing. They have a huge isle of imports but didn’t spend much time looking at them. I went straight to the domestic craft section and had a hard time deciding what I could bring back on the plane. I was a bit disappointed that some of the seasonals I was looking for were gone, but it’s not their fault. They also have a great selection of cheese and meats. The staff was extremely friendly and the checker had me fill out a simple form and I got 10% off of everything I bought. Just a great beer store, period. | | jbender (18), Hatboro, Pennsylvania | | September 19, 2009 I am extremely sad that now (after graduating from UDEL) I do not live 10 min away from stateline anymore. Their selection is absolutely phenomenal. And by that I mean that unlike almost everywhere else where I go in and can make a choice in a min or two, there are so many quality beers that I have to force myself to decide. There is a 30 foot shelf of quality micros and another 30 foot shelf of imports. It is so good that often I contemplate taking the hour drive to pick up something new. | | JCB (35), Durham, North Carolina | | August 22, 2009 Forgot to rate this earlier in the year. Stopped by on the way back from a biz trip and was floored by its general awesomeness. Nothing particularly remarkable about the appearance either way - looks like a typical "grab yer 30-pack and corn nuts" joint near the beach, but it’s a no frills booze emporium on the inside. Selection is absolutely massive, with a jaw-dropping array of Cantillon alone. National and regional micros well represented (Brewers Art, DFH, Weyerbacher, Stone, Legacy, Smutty, etc., etc., etc.) but it’s really the imports that blow you away, with pretty comprehensive coverage of Italians, Danish, Swedish, and oh my, those Belgians. Nice folks, 10% discount, yeah, it’s as good as they say. | | ben4321 (41), Rockville, Maryland | | August 18, 2009 [ Updated August 19, 2009 ] Wow this place is great! Awesome selection, I could browse for hours. It isn’t a nice looking place (inside or out) but who cares! What I found is that they had a great selection, a knowledgeable beer manager, and decent prices. I don’t have much else to say, just go here for the selection, and...the selection. If you are driving down 95 though the DE/MD border, this place is a must stop. I’m going to make every effort to swing by here more often, as long as my bank account can handle it!
| | Pwn3d (38), Manhattan, New York | | May 25, 2009 Went here late May 2008. On the DE/MD border. Amazing beer selection. Isles upon isles or delicious beer from all over the world. I love how you can take apart 12 packs, 6 packs, mix and match - whatever you want. Carefree environment. Large glass selection, cheese selection, rare beers. This is my #1 bottleshop. | homebrewer302 (6), Wilmington, does not count - explanation | | April 28, 2009 If you are a beer geek, aficianado, hunter, advocate or "all of the above", this store is for you. One of the best beer selections on the east coast, I am lucky enough to live close enough to frequent this establishment. Lots of rare beers and they are currently doing a 20% off all single Belgians in the semi-annual "Belgian Sale". The are constantly growing and have beers from all around the world, with a huge belgian section. They used to sell growlers but had to stop for legal reasons. They also have kegs of hard to find beers as well. Talk to the owners if you can’t find something, they might be able to special order if for you.
Buyers Tip: Join the stateline buyers club and you’ll save 10% on each 750ml single of beer and I think 5% on some domestic micros. It’s free so why not?! | | AguynamedTodd (17), Indiana | | April 16, 2009 I found the place easy to find; it’s maybe a half mile from the interstate. Was pleased by their variety, competitive prices, and the knowledge/helpfulness of their staff and owner. It’s a definite must if you’re looking for beers you can’t get where you live. | reskakis (1), Newark, Delaware does not count - explanation | | March 25, 2009 One of the best beer selections I have ever seen. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is helpful. They have a club card program that is free to sign up and gives plenty of discounts. A must for any true beer lover in the Delaware, Philly, New Jersey, or Maryland area. |
