11 reviews for Supermarket Liquors
| jbye4334 (44), Colorado Springs, Colorado | | September 11, 2009 Standard liquor store in a fairly convenient location. Decent selection and prices. Picked up a few singles that were somewhat hrad to find. I’d say if you’re in Fort Collins its still worth the trip to Wilbur’s though. | | kyzr (18), Belgrade, Montana | | September 19, 2008 Very easy to hit on the way in or out of town. Nice selection. Got their right before they were about to close. Was the only place that still had some Pliney in town. Had a good amount of singles. Won’t find anything out of the ordinary, but worth a stop if you have time. | | BlackForestCO (18), Fort Collins, Colorado | | December 27, 2007 Good store located in Fort Collins. Doesn’t have as wide a selection as some of the other stores, but they have good prices are sales pretty regularly. A good amount of singles and some semi-rare beers are available. I have never been approached by the staff really, so I can’t comment on their knowledge, but they are nice enough. Still a good place to find some random goodies. | TRadio (1), does not count - explanation | | November 1, 2006 I am constantly suprised by this store. I hear some great things and some not so hot things. Everytime I’ve stopped by, I’ve received great service. This guy, Wayne knows his stuff! Pretty laid back and easy to talk to the staff. it need a bit of updating, but some of the steals I’ve found...I could care less. | | BeerandBlues2 (157), Colorado Springs, Colorado | | August 18, 2005 Decent enough selection but as ernest says, the stop at Wilbur’s is better. As a caveat, they do carry a few things not found at Wilbur’s. Decent import selection and some Colorado micros such as Left Hand Widdershins. The only place I saw this; Liquor Mart in Boulder had the Oak Aged version. | | AustinMilbarge (49), Denver, Colorado | | November 12, 2004 Pretty much see what Ernest wrote, I used to stop in here once or twice a month when my girlfriend was living in Ft. Collins. Sometimes there’s a diamond in the rough. | | Ernest (105), Boulder, Colorado | | October 14, 2004 [ Updated April 4, 2005 ] Pretty good selection here, BUT...I’m getting the feeling much of it is pretty old and doesn’t sell well. If you’re in a hurry, you can skip this and just focus on Wilburs and Liquor Max. | | DrunkAsASkunk (41), Lynnwood, Washington | | August 19, 2004 What...you’ve got to be kidding me...sitting just 10 feet away from macro bud light is a Cidre Dupont Reserve 2003!!!! WOW! What a selection that just comes out of nowhere! Absolutely low score for ambience because many aisles are filled/blocked and there are many undesirables walking about with their 40’s of various crap. Staff is half-assedly knowledgable, but doesnt know where half their stock is most of the time. Overall a surprisingly good beer selection for a hole in the wall store. | Ringo (7), Loveland, Colorado does not count - explanation | | August 14, 2004 A surprise. Looks sorta ghetto from the outside but they have a somewhat different selection from other local places. I check in now and then to find something different. | | Murphy (35), Fort Collins, Colorado | | July 12, 2004 Totally came upon this place randomly. How could a place so close to Wal Mart have good beer? Some seriously weird and rare stuff here, I need to go back. A little disorganized, but really who cares. Most of the beer is refridgerated. |
