| can8ianben (69), Pasadena, California | | November 20, 2008 Very happy to find Goose Island’s Bourbon County Stout here! They carry both local brewers - the Bruery, and Bootleggers, but I agree with others in saying that their selection is not as big as they claim. However they seem to know what unique stuff to carry and try and track down. Worth the stop if you head to Fullerton to visit the breweries in town. | | Hophead22 (52), Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California | | October 5, 2008 Decent selection of singles, not out of the ordinary. Pretty much walked in and walked out. | kegbear (8), Orange, California does not count - explanation | | June 20, 2008 They advertise 400 beers, but they must be counting total number of bottles and not types. I would say they carry more like 150 different beers. Still it is better than your average store and had a few nice ones like Pizza Port Hop 15 and Old Viscosity. You’re better off going to Hollingshead though. | | ghawener (33), San Salvador, El Salvador | | May 28, 2006 A small stop on a Disneyland visit, great beer selection, sells bottles individually, got 18 new ones. Owner could show a bit more interest as his sign reads "400 Beers" but is not very servicable. Overall, worth the drive. | | y0cola (21), fremont, California | | October 3, 2005 great selection. i found some real treats in here. only place i’ve seen speedway stout ( i live in northern cal.) so i swooped that little guy up. good stop | Heatwaves (3), Santa Ana, California does not count - explanation | | September 21, 2005 This place is a total hole in the wall. Basically, it’s just a small liquor store that has a small section of harder to find beer. In fact, this place had the common "corner liquor store" vibe that I thought I went to the wrong place. But sure enough, they do have a quaint little beer section. I wouldn’t go out of my way to get here as Hollinghead, Hi Times and BevMo all have better selections, but it’s nice if you just stumble upon it. They have Stones, AleSmiths, Rochefort 8/10, Rogue and Old Rasputin. Not too shabby. | | JohnC (100), Mission Viejo, California | | May 3, 2004 Small, non-descript store in an old strip mall, that’s quite a find. If you’re in north Orange County, stop by for beer. | | DrunkAsASkunk (41), Lynnwood, Washington | | February 27, 2004 oh my GOD what a find! Thank you John and Bob for showing us the way. We found Westy, we found Rochefort and about 400 other beers here in this small hole in the wall. In fact we drove by it twice! They are a bit pricey, but what can ya do...its in the middle of nowhere, but its got a great well maintained collection. Hooray beer! | | herbjones (29), Orange, California | | January 12, 2004 Small(as in don't blink or you'll miss it) out of the way store that has a great selection of brews. Cantillon,Fantome,Alesmith,Stone,Westy have all been spotted here. |
