| dm9831 (30), Monee, Illinois | | October 20, 2009 a very good beer store with virtually every beer available as a single bottle. i dropped a bottle which popped the cap, and the clerk simply grabbed the bottle and spirited it away for quick disposal. perhaps the best beer store i have visited. i can only hope to be in the neighborhood again. | slipy120 (2), Michigan does not count - explanation | | August 7, 2009 I live about an hour and a half away and I will drive here for beer anytime I need it. There is craft beer available in singles and you are encouraged to mix your own six packs. The wine, sake, mead selection is good for a small place. Having recently gotten into home brewing, I fell in love as soon as I walked through the door. Hops varieties, crushed, grains, whole grains, areas where you can crush your own grains, recipe guides; it is all awesome. All the equipment, cleaning supplies, chemicals, or anything else you need to start brewing is there. The staff is amazing when it comes to service. If you have a question about making beer, wine, mead, cheese, they will help you. If you have a beer recipe they will improve it. They also have exotic coffee and a giant cigar humidor. Top notch place to do business. Please, do yourself a favor and go there. It is small and can get crowded at times, but they make due with what they have. They even sold me Winter Beerfest tickets! | | jeffmw (14), | | July 17, 2009 The second of the two bottle shops we stopped at during our Michigan beer our. This place isn’t big but they pack a lot into a small area. The selection was nice with just about everythng you could ever want in singles. Just make sure you look around because some of the best things we found were hidden in the nooks and crannies of the place. Staff was nice and pretty knowledgable. | | Headbanger (44), Aurora, Illinois | | July 5, 2009 Stopped in on my way back home from the UP. Two guys working were nothing but helpful. Answered all questions and were very pleasant even looking for the bathroom and a case to carry my 4 mixed sixes. Great selection and everything in singles. Asked the gentleman checking me out about it and he said they encourage the singles. Prices were hit or miss plus they gave you 10% off my mixed six case. Definitely worth stopping by. | | valpoaj (12), Valparaiso, Indiana | | June 20, 2009 Stopped by on a business trip up to Grand Rapids after being told it was the ’best beer store in town’...I usually greet this comment with great inner skepticism, but I was in the mood to see what was new with Michigan beers, so I took a drive across town on my way home. Went in, and this place definitely packs a punch...a haven if you’re into home brewing, wine or tobacco, but since I had a 3 hour drive home and was already on the road for 12 hours, I went straight for the craft beer. Very limited amount of BMC, and an abundance of single bottles, which gives it a big thumbs up right away. Prices were fairly reasonable...maybe a bit high, but I’ll take that tradeoff for the flexibility. Left with plenty of JP, Shorts, Founders and a few other MI beers, and then inquired about KBS at the desk and the clerk grabbed me one from a small stash in the back. Only complaint would be that it is very cramped in some portions...if there are other people shopping, it could get ugly if you’re not paying attention! Would definitely head back here in the future! | | MrBunn (53), Western, Pennsylvania | | June 15, 2009 Stopped by today on my way back from Northern Michigan. Place doesn’t look like much from the outside and the inside is a cluttered mess, but selection and service were very good. Prices were a little higher than I’m used to seeing on many things and lower on a few. | coyotehunter (8), , Michigan does not count - explanation | | June 15, 2009 Funky little store...beer everywhere. On the floor, behind counters in coolers. I like that you have to walk past all the craft beer to find the bud light and the like clear in the back. Great selection for this part of the state. Lots of good stuff not found in Kalamazoo. helpful staff and reasonable prices. | | amg800 (15), Ada, Michigan | | June 8, 2009 Wine/Beer brewing supplies is the reason for most of my trips to Siciliano’s, but the selection is what makes me stay for a little longer than my fiance is comfortable with. Staff is very knowledgable and willing to help in any way they can. Clerks can be a little snobby at times.
Arguably one of the best selections in town. Definitely the best brewing supply store in west MI. | Beer3irty (3), Michigan does not count - explanation | | May 16, 2009 Bottle shop and Brewing supplies. This place is "King" in Grand Rapids.
Awesome selection of brewing supplies from kits to full grain and most importantly a staff that brews themselves and know what the hell they’re talking about.
Great selection in the bottle shop from all breweries in Michigan and a large selection from around the US and major beer countries. Mix up you own six-pack from any beers in the store.
They have: Beer, Brewing supplies and equipment, wine, wine making supplies and equipment, classic and gourmet sodas, liquor, and disc golf supplies.
Prost!

http://bit.ly/beer30 | | greco (14), Zeeland, Michigan | | May 6, 2009 Great little homebrew/ wine supply shop with an excellent selection of commercial brews that are available by the bottle.
The staff is always helpful and extremely knowledable and does a good job picking beers to sell. |
