Interesting especially for the local "beer" sahti, artigianally brewed only in the Helsinki area

Close to city centre. Can be crowded and noisy but still worh a visit. One of the few places that serve sahti continuously. Also real ales and lambics are available. The best place to visit if you want to eat and drink good beer.

A nice bar restaurant. Only one tram stop from center of city. Good kitchen. Real Ales served. Them weeks every year. Stout and sahti weks. Friendly personnel.

Decent and well sized Pub, 5 min walk from the Central Station. Right between the Parliament and the National Museum 1809. They have a couple of rarities including Finlandia Sahti, Koff Porter on tap and some other Finnish micros. Ayinger Celebrator is also on there list, as well as 2 cask beers. They serve food from the restaurant beside them, and especially there pizza’s are good. Nice homepage. An English version is available, where it’s possible to find a list with all there beers. Look under "ST. URHO’S PUB" in the top menu.

A good pub with a good selection of beers in a variety of styles. Two real ales available and a good bottled beer selection. The food I had (fish and chips) was very nice indeed although maybe I am just missing home too much :)

Good location: not in the center of the center. Good ambiance mainly good people. quite easy on the ears so talking is is the thing. many levels so it’s easy to see the people and available seats. Delicious and big reindeer pizza.Going to be there during the sahti week !

Pleasant location, typical pub look and feel friendly staff range seems to go for geographic spread rather than local rarities. This is OK for locals, but I didn’t go to Helsinki for a pint of Fullers ESB, or Stella or Sam Adams for that matter.

Good and original selection, fantastic pizzas. Ask for garlic for the pizza and why not in the beer as well, if that’s your thing. Good environment to take tourists to, right next to the parliament building.

Their staff is really nice, humorous, helpful and knowing. By far the best staff I’ve met in any pubs. Their selection of beer’s is quite limited, but offer’s a selection of some rarer treats as well. I recall seeing some Cantillon there as well. General atmosphere is very traditional and pub-like. Also you can get very nice and big meals or snacks. Definately worth a trip!

Nice place with good food served late at night. Very nice staff, knows a lot about their beers. Non-smoking at the moment like all the Finnish bars after new non smoking law. 2 real ales always on tap and Fullers ESB is permanent.
