| solsticebrew (13), , | | June 29, 2009 This place is great and has the best selection of micros, nanos, wine, spirits, and cigars. Totally recommend | | auderale (35), Fairchild AFB, Washington | | January 24, 2009 Found this place while shopping at the Ward Warehouse. Pretty decent selection for being so small. A lot of wine too. I was hoping they had more local stuff, but was able to get all they had. Very friendly staff. I’d definitely stop back if I had the chance. Pricey, but that’s expected in the location they are in. | | elihapa (62), Honolulu, California | | June 11, 2008 I stumbled into this place passing by Ward Warehouse. Beer is located in the read, with a nice selection of single beers. They have some nice Belgians that I have yet to try, and some fun brews from the west coast such as Deschutes Hop Henge. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Best place I have found yet in Honolulu. | castironchef (8), Pearl City, Hawaii does not count - explanation | | April 23, 2008 Nice selection of lesser-known beers. Too many abbey-style ales for my liking. Still no Stone Brewing Co. What a shame. Kinda pricey, and parking sucks on the weekend. No sales or specials on craft beers that I know of :( | | Marc (13), Yokosuka, Japan | | January 26, 2008 A chance find while on my way to Boarders Books. Not a whole lot of floor space due to how crammed with stuff this place is. Fair selection of domestic and imports. Great Rum selection as well. the ladie behind the counter was very helpfull in describing the local products and giving recomendations. | | BrewDad (239), Olympia, Washington | | January 23, 2008 [ Updated October 1, 2008 ] This was a great place. With about 150-200 single beers at any given time they have all you can get for Hawaii. Lots of interesting Aussie, and Belgian beers. They also had beers from other countries that I have never seen before. Liquor, cigars and wine are also available so if you need some party supplies they have it. Great atmosphere and they just are as friendly as can be. I will go back every time when I visit the Islands. If you’re looking for a beer from that special place like Tasmania they will have it. They will also have lots of Hawaiian beers that you will never find anywhere else. | | BMan1113VR (108), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas | | January 1, 2008 [ Updated April 8, 2008 ] One of the best sellections I have seen anywhere, let alone on this tiny Island in the middle of the pacific. They have ALL the local beers and a great selection of Asian unknowns, Belgians, and USA micros. I bought Echigo Koshihikari, Keoki Sunset and Keoki Gold, Kona Pipeline Porter, Mehana Mauna Kea Pale Ale, and La Bière du Boucanier Red Ale. All but the last one (which is Belgian) are extremely hard to find on the mainland. A bit hard to find as it is on the backside of a little strip mall, but there is ample parking. Good selection of wines too. Great helpful staff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. | | wetherel (80), Encinitas, California | | December 15, 2007 3 Maui Brewing beers, including the coconut porter, that I really like. A few other local beers from Mehana. A beer from the Philipines. Some Chimay. Relative to San Diego, it’s a mee-too I have Belgian beers beer store, but from the few liquor stores I’ve been to in Hawaii, it’s the best. | | RblWthACoz (23), Brooklyn, New York | | October 13, 2007 From notes, 2005. I always enjoyed checking out the Liquor Collection and always referred others to it. You can get basically any type of standard beer in stores, but for unique stuff, I found this to be one of the better places on the island of Oahu and never heard of another place that came too close. If you are living on the island as of new, just stick to here. They’ll keep you happy for a while. | | MrRomero (105), Nolanville, Texas | | January 15, 2005 Liquor store: Finally managed to find this place this afternoon. For Hawaii, they have a pretty decent selection. Several Hawaiian micros and several Belgians as well. Chimay-red, white, and blue, etc. Service was good. The man who bagged my beer thanked me for buying good beer. Nice. I will return. |
