Best beer selection in Knoxville, can get a little pricy, as much due to Tennessee laws as anything though. Brent and the staff mostly know their stuff on some of the beers. If you are looking for some decent hard to find beers in Knoxville, this is the place. A good selection of De Dolle and several other Belgians. Not bad, but I’m from Florida. The guy behind the counter recommneded Aiko Pale Lager as his favorite beer. It was disgusting swill, so he lost a LOT of credibility with me. Typical TN high-alcohol selection, with a handful of things I haven’t seen elsewhere (e.g., Baladin). Lately (summer 2006) their beer selection seems to have increased somewhat. I’ll usually stop by if I’m out in Cedar Bluff, but don’t usually make a special trip. |
