August 9, 2009 If you’re a hipster you love this place, period. The bar has a great selection of bottled beers and pretty tasty pizza. The service is completely snobby unless you are friends with half of the staff, otherwise don’t expect even decent service. |

June 14, 2008 Everything was great but the service seemed a little snobby. They knew tons about beer and really seemed to know what they were talking about though still remained unhelpful or even nice for that matter. |

December 7, 2007 Best place in Lincoln to grab a beer after work. Try going with an adventurous attitude and let the bartender pick a beer for you! If you have a style in mind they will set you up proper |

July 29, 2007 [ Updated July 24, 2009 ] A delightful, smoke-free place to sip a beer. Many choices on tap and in the bottle, with knowledgeable staff and clientele. The pizza is delicious and served with a huge chunk of bread. The lighting is low, and the bathrooms are as clean as it gets on O Street in Lincoln. |

December 3, 2006 I really like this place. No TV, just lots of beer. Great ambiance, as the accent is on the tunes and good conversation. Try finding that any place else in Lincoln on Husker Saturday! Light selection of beer on tap, but they do try for one or two exotics- this is the only place I know of that pours Modern Monks beer. The pizza is not to my liking, but the ber in bottle list is extensive for this town. When in Lincoln, this is definitely your place. |

January 9, 2006 Went to this place with one of my friends who grew up in Lincoln. Dozen or so draught beers with many bottles to choose from. The pizza was very good and is the staple as far as food goes in this place. Looking forward to going back. |

July 24, 2005 July 2005: Sent on the recommendation of matt_dinges, my wife and I enjoyed this quirky little place. We sat and ate at the bar, staring at the coolers full of beer. They have an impressive lineup, particularly for this part of the country, with a good selection of imports. The pizza was very good (served with a near loaf of fresh bread). The service was touch and go. One bartender was great, the other I think was high. |

April 11, 2005 This is the place to go in Lincoln for beer. In fact it may be the best bar in all of Nebraska. That doesn’t say much, but at least it has some decent tap selections like Bigfoot. They also have over 100 different bottles. No BMC macro swill crap here. They also server food, mostly pizza which I hear is good, but have not had myself. |

March 31, 2005 Pretty much amazing bottle selection, especially for the Midwest. Trappist, american micros, lots of interesting imports and 10 taps, all micros and imports. Pizza was great and they even make single slices to order. I was very pleasantly surprised by this place and plan to go back tonight to try some more beers. |

February 3, 2005 I really can’t add much more to what Matt said about this little bar. Many would not like the ambiance, but if you like real beers of taste and flavor you will always be able to find one there. Many times you can even find one you haven’t tried yet. The pizza is a welcome difference to what is served all over, and what more of a natural combination could there be that Bread and Beer. I think a real beer lover visiting Lincoln would enjoy the experience (especially if the University is in session). |
