This is the disneyland of beers. There are a couple other places that rival the selction but, I think they are #1. Everytime I go here I end up getting a cart since I can’t stop buying. The staff is quick to help with any questions.

A seedy looking place that houses an amazing beer selection. I was only allowed one stop on my last visit to Milwaukee so this was it. I filled a basket up spent over an hour in the store and had to put lots back because I knew I shouldn’t spend so much.

Looks like a typical liquor store from the outside. The freaking beer aisle is huge. One of the employees saw how wide my eyes were and kindly pointed out some of the rarer beers. Lots of stuff available that I’ve been wanting to try. The prices seem fair enough if not exactly "discount". If I ever head back to Milwaukee I simply must stop here again.

I walked with a list of top 100 rated beers and, IIRC, virtually every last one available for purchase in Wisconsin was stocked. The variety is just astonishing and, relative to prices in The Chicago Area, are aggressively priced. The place does look as if it hasn’t been remodeled in the past 30 years. However, I’m guessing that contributes in small part to the low prices. It’s clean inside but isn’t going to win any beauty contests. It’s located in an unpretentious but safe area. My only beef with the place is that they stick these bright orange price tags on the bottles that are unsightly and difficult to remove. Since the cashiers scan the UPC, I don’t understand what the point is. Having said that, I feel it’s well worth the hour-plus drive from my house.

This was my second visit to this store, the last time was during Summerfest or "I got drunkfest". A very nice selection of harder to find Belgium 750’s, and the store seemed to be well stock with some of the beers only found in WI as well as DFH, Founders, FFF just to mention a few. Service was friendly and helpful. A jewel in the rough, (not the most welcoming exterior or area) but my mind was made up as soon as I got in the door, a must stop if your in the area. I’ll be in the summer to spend more than I should.

This place is amazing. A great place to find all of the Midwest beers I had been craving (New Glarus, Great Lakes, Three Floyds). Prices were great too. If I lived anywhere near this store I would visit all of the time. Easily one of the best stores I have visited.

I traveled 2 hours from Green Bay so I could check this place out. I was quite pleased at the large selection of foreign and American beer they had. I came for FFF and some Bell’s Expedition and was not dissapointed. My total bill was $200 and most of the beer I bought was all brews I’ve not had. The staff was also very helpful giving me advice on great beers to try.

Plenty of imports, locals, and a relatively new category, hybrids (like the Mikkeller/3Floyds, the Pizza Port/De Proef collaboration Beers, among others). Local micros were well represented, tons of New Glarus (Iced Barley Wine? Interesting...) and Sprecher. Nice imports that we don’t see too often on the east coast as well. Service gets a knock because they refused to let me split a sixer. The place looked clean enough for this kind of establishment. Nice glassware selection as well. Price/value is a bit hard to set. Yeah, I paid 25$ for a Cantillon, but the local stuff wasn’t too expensive.

As you drive by you would think all thisstore has is a bunch of 40’s but when you walk in you see beer and more beer. With New Glarus Unplugged to Tyranena to other great stuff. This store will make you broke or your not buying enough. Great store and a pretty decent selection of singles.
