6 reviews for Beverages and More! (BevMo) - Mountain View
| mrhoppy (57), Santa Clara, California | | July 4, 2009 This store is like most other BevMo’s. Good beer choices. | golubj (7), Sunnyvale, California does not count - explanation | | July 27, 2008 Stopped at this Bevmo when I was nearby. It is better than the one in Redwood City, and it had a few beers that I had never seen before. A solid selection, but not anything real outstanding. Also, all the Bevmos in this area don’t even carry Russian River... so odd. | | brianprentiss (29), Portland, Oregon | | July 10, 2008 pretty standard BevMo in the South Bay. Lots of Stone and occasionally you’ll find something new. But mostly the selection never changes and they can be a bit overpriced. I agree with the other reviewer that they should definitely have Russian River, Alesmith, etc. They recently started carrying a limited selection of Dogfish Head and very limited selection of Avery. Definitely should break up sixpacks, at least some. | | DarkMagus (30), San Jose, California | | November 13, 2007 Certainly nothing to complain about, a pretty standard bevmo with the usual selection. A lot of good solid standard stuff, maybe something unusual here and there, but no Cantillon, St. Bernardus, Alesmith, etc. Nothing to get all excited about, but still ...every time I go to a bevmo I walk out with something worth drinking... | | glennmastrange (20), hobe sound, Florida | | November 11, 2007 A nice selection of west coast brews not available on te east coast, but where are the Alesmiths and Hair of the Dogs? Staff was hepfull and somewhat knowledgable, but for a distributor of this size breaking up a 12 oz. six pack shouldn’t be a problem. Definitely worth a stop by but the selection could have been a bit better. | | ElGaucho (146), Minneapolis, Minnesota | | November 24, 2006 All Bevmos are not created equally. Of the 4 or 5 I’ve been to, this one is clearly the best. More single bottles, more variety more quality and quantity. If there’s a better beer store on the West Bay, I haven’t seen it. |
