January 11, 2009 All the Ayingers are fresh on tap here. Do I need to say much more. The food is good as well. If you need to have a really long, close look at the Hofbräuhaus, there are also some tables on the square outside. One of the top picks in the city for sure. |

September 12, 2008 Very comfortable restaurant with clean and classy atmosphere. Pleasant service and very neat bathrooms. Good selection of Ayinger`s fine beers from tap, some being among the best in their style. |

June 4, 2008 A fine place to sit, drink and relax, even though it’s located next to Hofbrauhaus and the Hard Rock Cafe. Both the kellerbier and the pils very very well done, and as it was late at night we enjoyed some fine dessert as well during out time on the patio. It was fun. |

June 2, 2008 Very nice place with lovely outdoor seating in front of the Hofbräuhaus. Food was excellent Bavarian-style fare. Good, friendly service, slightly disrupted by a guy next to us being relieved of his wallet by pickpockets. The Ayinger beers are of course great, and the cask beer especially. |

May 28, 2008 I was there two evenings (Friday and Saturday). On Friday was very crowded and waited for 10 minutes only to get a table, but for Celebrator it was worth to wait. On Saturday was almost empty like everyone vanished somewhere. Nice food and great beers. |

May 18, 2008 This place had real good authentic food and some decent beer. Nice service and a great atmosphere. I nice little outdoor table area in the center of a square, good foot traffic by it for people watching. |

January 13, 2008 You can’t do much better than this, right on site at the restaurant beside the brewery. Fresh beer of the finest in the world and a cuisine that is incredible. The venison was great and the duck equally impressive. A rough stop when travelling for business. Prices aren’t great, but heck, you can’t beat the results. |

November 28, 2007 Visited several times while in Munich late August 2007. Great place, great food, nice Ayinger beers on tap with a cask option to boot. Right in the heart of the Altstadt without the massive tourist crunch. It as amazing for me to try the Ayinger beers so fresh. Has a nice restaurant feel. |

November 5, 2007 Hit this up durring a break from the festival durring the first wekend of october 2007. Great time sitting outside in the Munich sun and drinking the outstanding festbier and ok dunkel. They had all the normal Ayinger beers from the barrel plus the festbier as the seasonal offering. Not a large selection, but about as good as you can hope for in Germany from my experience, and if you have to pick one brewery, this is a good bet. The food was typical tastey traditional bavarian stuff, but the waitress was awful and screwed up our order and then gave us a really bad atitude about fixing it. I would go back in the winter to get their doppelbock, but probably not bother getting food next time. |

May 6, 2007 April 2007 - Across the street from the HBhaus and definitely a better choice. Sat at the bar and the bartender was a bit surly at first, but it could’ve been our bad German. They had fresh helles from a wooden barrel served in 1/2 litre clay steins. Of course many others on tap too. Food was excellent and by the time we left there were few seats available. |
