Man, how I miss the days when I was able to walk to this bar from my apartment. At the time, this place was the site of the New England Brewing Company and featured all of New England’s beers on draught fresh. These days, New England Brewery is under new ownership at a new location. Much of the restaurant and bar area are the same, although the brewery section no longer exists.

With 16 taps and a nice selection of beer, this place is great when in town for a day or two. The taps tend to gravitate towards macros, but the occasional seasonal sneaks in. Their bottle selection is always being rotated and the bar staff is friendly at times when it is not busy.

There are often bands and special events here, but my favorite time to go has always been on off days where I can just relax and kick back a few.
The menu is generally middle of the road steakhouse kind of fare. During times that meals are served, minors are welcome in the restaurant.
