Some interesting beers, but only below 4,75% abv. They have loads of interesting food and other drinks too. Prices aren’t great for being a supermarket.

Half-decent selection of beers when I visited on a Monday. One of the better grocery stores in Norway, with an emphasis on quality foods. Basement store near Colosseum cinema and the Majorstuen metro (t-bane) station. Found nothing (except a cider) that I could not find in Stavanger.

Had a quick visit a couple of weeks ago. They had something like 6-7 different beers you probably won’t find anywhere else in Norwegian supermarkets. The rest of the selection was pretty standard. Everything costs 50,- NOK, which is quite expensive even for Norwegian standars in my opinion. But generally a nice place, with an unusual selection of beer and food.

A big supermarket at Majorstua. It has a suprisingly large selection considering it’s a supermarket in Norway, but this could be because alot of foreigners live in this part of Oslo.

An upmarket supermarket with probably the best selection in Oslo. The import shelves were quite empty on my visit, but was filled up just after, and is said to be good, with a good deal of British micro’s. There’s also lots of Norwegian micros and macros, and a few ciders. Expensive as everything in Norway. Their cheese area is also worth a visit, with a nice selection of both Continental and Norwegian cheeses, also from the smaller Norwegian cheese makers.

Big upmarket supermarket easily reachable by subway to Majorstuen, right next to Colosseum cinema. One of the best supermarkets in Oslo, with an excellent selection of Norwegian beers, including all the Nøgne Ø beers they can legally sell (4-5, depending on season). Also remarkable for the big selection of UK microbrews. Food selection is also great for Norway. Service is, well, supermarket service.

Probably the best beer selection of the Oslo supermarkets. Nøgne ø beers, all the macros you’d possibly need, a fair selection of imports, with some good stuff from Germany and the UK. A fine range of British beers lately.
