Little store located on a street corner that looks rather residential. A Carlsberg sign hangs outside that reads, "Perhaps the best beer store in the world." A bold statement, but when you walk inside you can see why they are proud. Two rooms are dedicated to beer, with a third in the back containing wine. The Belgian/German/English/Australian selection is outstanding. The Belgian selection in particular really amazed me. It could be the best that I have ever seen in one store, and contains a number of things that I have never seen anywhere in the United States. North American beers are woefully unrepresented, with mainly Flying Dog, Rogue and Unibroue present. Prices vary widely in comparison to those I see in the United States. The Belgian beer tends to be about the same price, with some significantly cheaper. The Aussie beers often are higher in price than the majority of American craft beer is in America. The Scandinavian beer is very expensive. Staff was somewhat friendly, but not overly so. Overall, an outstanding beer store.

I’ve never been so impressed by a bottle shop in my life i sure feel like a kid in a candy store everytime i go there, keep up the good work guys.

One of the best beer shops I,ve come across,probably the best in Australia,have enjoyed some beautiful beers of them and the service is first rate.

Looks like a converted milk bar, doesn’t look like much from the outside but hot damn it’s pretty exciting on the inside. Definitely the best range of beers in the country, and laid out extremely well. Staff knew the stock back to front. Heaps of stuff you can’t get elsewhere, though they seem to have a deal to distribute to Purvis and Grain & Grape now. Magical place.

A true beer lover’s store, it is the equivalent of the book lover who finds the musty old book shop on the corner that is full of literary gems. This place is more concerned about its contents than its looks and that’s what adds to its charm. Very impressive selection, particulary beers from the UK and Europe. Not very much North American fare. A highlight of my visit to Perth.

I love walking into a grog shop where the wine is out the back because the beer takes pride of place. Mark on the front counter is passionate and knowledgeable and I think extra pats on the back are due for having heard of ratebeer. The selection is great and I have just tested the freight service from one side of our broad country to another and have been very pleased with the box of beer that arrived in just on a week after ordering. Thanks gents, you will always be on my WA visit list.

Friendly staff, extremely knowledgable, terrific service (on several occasions I was notified promptly by telephone when something of special interest arrived in stock), and one of the best overall selection of beers that I have seen anywhere (including Canada and the U.S.).

Wow...what a selection!! Service was pretty ordinary the day I visited, but that was more than compensated by the available range. As others have said, the best Beer Shop in Australia.
