I had been hearing about this place and seeing their beers for sale occasionally and became curious. I went here for the first time a few weeks ago with a friend. The atmosphere is pretty nice, I think it’s kinda neat that the tasting room is also the brewing area. They only have a limited number on tap (5 or 6) but still enjoyed my time there. We both bought a flight of 5 different beers and we were allowed to keep the tulip glass for only $8. A great deal. People seem really nice and prompt. Had a few more then left with a growler. All in all a fun little place, I will definitely return here more often, but probably just for a quick pint and pop out with a growler fill.

Warehouse without the chic. Could use a bit more seating. Service is usually good and well informed. Awesome selection of draft only and the occasional bottle. Had Black Tuesday on draft. Even without stimulus sunday deal, prices are good

Bman1113vr took me here. This place was pretty busy on the Saturday afternoon I went. Tons of beer aging in all types of bottles. Talked with the head of marketing there, extremely nice guy and knew beer pretty damn well. Would love to come back here.

Great ambiance in this tasting room, you’re sitting there sipping a Berliner Weisse or Papier while wet dreaming about whats inside all of those wooden barrels stacked three or four high. Very friendly staff, bottles and growlers to go. My one complaint is that they’re only open on the weekends, how about thursday nights guys?

A cavernous industrial setting with high ceilings and a bunch of brew tanks. Also notable are the seemingly hundreds of wood barrels that are quietly aging the next exotic batches of Bruery beverage. The tasting area was small, but adequate for the crowd that was there. The four course tasting was $2 a person, a good bargain for what you get. The saison rue was wonderful, and the Black orchard intruguing. In addition, they let you purchase growlers and bottles of all their stuff, including Papier (1st anniversary release). I will be back.

My only visit thus far was during the 1st anniversary party, but the staff was very courteous and the selection was very impressive compared to most other brewery tap rooms. Lots of small batch, tap-only stuff available. I don’t know what to say about ambiance. It’s a warehouse-styled brewery, but the sampling bar area is somewhat cozy. Kinda makes me wish I lived closer.

Great beers and worth the trip. Still a fairly small operation, running out of an industrial center right off the freeway. Not a fancy tasting room, but very friendly staff, and great beers. Its quickly becoming a regular stop for me.

Visited The Bruery Sunday, May 29, around 1:30. Easy to find, although the industrial park seemed more likely to house an auto parts warehouse than a place open to the public. Once inside, the business was all beer. From the stainless brewing equipment on the left, to the wood barrel storage to the right, any true beer geek would love spending time here. And my wife and I were surrounded by them. "No honey, those aren’t nerds" I informed her. "They are beer geeks." "What’s the difference?" she asked. "More goatee’s and about 40 pounds." I replied. There was even a dude in a kilt!Lesson: this isn’t a place for a first date, unless she happens to hail from Flanders. My two dollar sampler "flight" was served in those great plastic glasses we all enjoyed on our childhood picnics, and accompanied a flyer describing the beer, although I couldn’t remember the order. Most curious of all, there was not a scrap of food in the place. No peanuts handed out by the basket. No chips sold by the little bag. Heck, even a vending machine would have helped! Without munchies to allow my spouse to serve as the designated-driver, I was forced to leave before she sipped her way to taxi-status. Oh, but I do love this place. The beer, of course, was unique and delicious. If they manage to solve the 38:2 guy/girl ratio (to their credit, one of the two girls in the place worked there, and seemed to know her way around a beer to boot), and find something tasty but easy to fling at the patrons, OC might actually possess a more cultured (albeit beer-cultured) alternative to the all-too-typical micro brewery.

This brewery operation is simple, but a great places to hang out and enjoy some samples. The barstaff was interesting in talking about their beers and were very accomodating. The barrel tables are nice. With such good beer, I’d always come back. The selection of Bruery beers, was obviously, unparalled. Prices were fair. A fun trip!

I was able to make it down for The Bruery’s anniversary party a week and a half ago. Just an amazing experience. The people at the brewery were great and welcoming and the atmosphere was awesome for a brewery celebration. I know that the selection was bigger for the party, but they probably had 20 or 21 beers on, which is phenomenal considering they have only been brewing for a year, and I know of at least a few beers that they did last year that weren’t even there. The best part is that every beer is at least solid, with the best of them being standouts in their styles. Whatever these guys have been doing in the last year, they have done it right, and I look forward to the next time I can visit and see what their new creations are.
