Johnny’s very knowledgeable on beer, although a fierce business man. The selection is complete, he also imports beers by himself. Beers are kept in fridges. Young noisy crowd outside. Knowledgeable staff inside. Nice overall, the first serious beershop in Rome but very pricy and wine-combined.

Coasy little shop. Very helpfull staff, but she did not speak english. The selection, I think, could be better. But again, a coasy shop.

Definately worth a visit and one of the few places in Rome where you can obtain some decent beers including Italian. friendly, English speakong staff. Wine is also available, but surely you are here for microbrews. No ciders unfortunately.

Visited in March 2009. What a great place! Staff really helpful. Very close to the metro station and St Giovani Cathedral. I got Maltus Faber Extra and Panil Divina but selection was extensive, even Westvleteren 12!

Visited in September 08. Put this on my list as a must place to visit and man am I happy I did. This place has an extensive range of Italian beers as well as great beers from Europe and elsewhere. John has great knowledge of the beers and really opened my eyes to my very limited knowledge of Italian craft beers. John is a legend and thanks once again for the shirt...will definitely stop by again if only for another shirt as Ive already worn this one out. Cheers!

I was given bad directions from my hotel to a local supermarket and stumbled upon Off License. What a great little place. Very clean and wide open inside. John came out from behind the counter, I explained that I wanted a few good bottles of Italian craft beer to drink and a few to take home. He asked what styles I liked, and walked me through all of the Italian bottles he had. He was very informative and suggested certain bottles based on style and uniqueness. Besides Italian beer, there was an awesome variety of Belgian, English, American and other various European beers. Wine is also available and covers the other half of the shop. Please take my advice and seek this spot out, it will be worth your time even if it is just to carry a good conversation on beer. Thanks John.
