I’m fairly new to the salt lake area, but this place is pretty nice. They have around 7-8 of their standard offerings on at all times, as well as usually 1-2 seasonal offerings and a cask offering. No guest beers here though. They also have some of their higher alcohol stuff in bottles. The food is pretty standard pub fare, I had a burger which was decent. Service is pretty friendly and somewhat knowledgeable. Parking can be a bit expensive. Definitely worth a stop, and within walking distance of many of the downtown hotels.

Great beer and good food. Jenny does a great job of putting many different specialty beers on tap along with the regulars. They always have at least one beer on cask and one on nitro. Great atmosphere and staff.

Squatters is one of the oldest and perhaps the best brewpub in SLC. A contemporary feel and spacious atmosphere are quite inviting. The focus is on the bar and the "beer wall" that lists the current offerings. Seasonals cycle through in a matter of weeks so you’re always anxious to see what is new. Service is as good as it gets. The employees are obviously trained in beer knowledge and it refreshing. Food isn’t quite traditional pub fare. You can still order a gourmet burger or pizza, but they offer many ethnic dishes as well. Prices are more than reasonable for downtown SLC. They’re a little lax on enforcing some of the Utah laws compared to other establishments. I was able to have a few beers without pressure to order food. They serve full strength beers as well (not the 3.2 beers) because they sell them to the state of Utah who in turn sells them back to the restaurant. Absurd, I know, but at least I can have a full strength IPA if I want one. The beer is phenomenal. Full Suspension, Captain Bastard’s, St. Provo Girl, etc. The seasonals are often the best beers on tap such as HopHead Red, Irish Stout, etc. Many GABF awards are proudly displayed. If you’re serious about beer, then this is your place.

This place looks like it would lots of fun on a weekend, we were there on a Tuesday evening. The beer sampler is a good idea. It’s served on a snow ski!! The beer is good! The food was truly bad! Our beer pattered onion rings were raw in the center and my salad was made with old lettuce. Drink here don’t eat!

They have a decent sampler but I wish you could pick what you want. The citrus wasabe tilapia salad was amazing! We sat outside but the inside bar looked neat.

Nice place, visited when in the area for work. I visited on a weekday around 3pm so it was rather dead. Bar staff was friendly, but customers clearly weren’t their focus when I visited. Still, I enjoyed myself. Had 3 pints and a burger/fries. Nice variety of beers available. The whole Utah beer thing still confuses me - I couldn’t order their IPA (which was 6% and bottled) unless I bought food at the same time. Crazy Mormon State. That being said, I’d visit again. When I could get the bartender’s attention, he recommended an APA that wasn’t on their menu, which I enjoyed.

Visited while staying at Snowbird. An easy walk from the nearest TRAX station, so driving into downtown and finding parking was not an issue. I had a bottle of Fifth Element, which was fantastic, along with a couple of the standard brews. Wife had the house house-brewed root beer, which she declared was among the best ever. Food was also good. I had a great burger and fries, wife had some so-so nachos, which in their defense she wasn’t really hungry to start with. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely visit again in SLC.

Worth the hack from the AIrport! Great brewpub, that proved to me that there is ggreat beer in UTAH! Full Supsension, Ava Lee, and many others would be major local favourites in my book. Didn’t eat was on a bit of a whirlwind tour. Missed the Temple/Tambernaccllly? thingy.

Been here a couple of times already. It’s a very nice place, but parking is a bitch. There’s a PF Chang’s across the street if you want Chinese (Pretty Good). The atmosphere is very nice the two time’s I was there. Got a couple of different brew’s while there. Service was very nice and price was not bad at all. All brew’s are 4% or lower, sorry. There are some one-offs also being offered once in a while.Food was pretty good, friend order something which was not bad at all, something wrapped in lettuce (chicken, mushrooms, sweet sauce). If you are in the SLC area stop by.

Great little brewpub in downtown Salt Lake City, walking distance from the big church thingimabob. Plenty of street parking. Only had a small taste of this place (about 45 minutes worth), but the Fifth Element bottles are more than worth the stop, and there were probably a dozen other beers available on tap / cask / nitro, including a Mild ale and a couple of IPAs. Edamame was fantastic (how often does one say that?) and everything coming out of the kitchen looked great. Little gift shop at the front, lots of seating indoors and on the patio, huge ceilings, and friendly waitstaff. Definitely worth a stop if you’re traveling on 80 or 15.
