This is quite an interesting place, almost like a biker bar out west that you would see in movies. My major concern with this place is the disrespect to all the craft beer bottles in there. When I went the bottles that they sell were thrown all over the shelf & it was a mess. They had all kinds of good craft beers just scattered all over the shelf some lying down, six packs thrown there like there was a fight that messed up that section years ago & no one bothered to clean it up. When you think of the kind of people that go there & see the 200+ bottles of craft brew there that I’m sure most of there patrons don’t drink(Almost all BMC drinkers here,which I’m sure some drink the crafts) you start to wonder how long those beers were there. Well I bought some & they were almost all bad. That being said it is an interesting place & if I went I would definitely drink from the 50+ taps.

You gotta love beer to come here. Ultra basic, but has the best beer selection I’ve seen in San Antonio. Better prices than other places too. Picnic tables on the inside, and virtually no ambiance to speak of (I think they want it that way!) Service is serve-yourself at the bar, but they’re quick and respectful. This is no pub, or high-faluting beer emporium... a basic Texas ice-house with air-conditioning and a great selection of beers.

Great place to hang out. 54 taps and lots of bottles. Covered patio. Rows of picnic tables inside. Parking lot full of bikes on Wednesday evenings. Bring your own mug or buy one of theirs then leave it on a numbered hook behind the bar. I used to go here when it was more ice house than bar.

They pretty much have every beer available in Texas...and they usually have them 1st. You can get get tap beer to go.

If you are in SA, stop by here. Buy beer to go, or drink it there. Good prices lots of beer.
