1 review for Dutch Tavern / Dutch Ale House
| coldbrewky (50), Saugerties, New York | | February 5, 2008 [ Updated June 19, 2009 ] For a small town in upstate NY you will be surprised at the depth of the main 15 taps. Frquent roatation. The bottle list is pretty impressive too. It is a bit drafty so bring a jacket in winter. Darts. Pool table. Mug club. A bottle fridge at THE CORRECT TEMPERATURE! In fact I was served a perfect Pilsner Urquell here three days ago. I nearly felt like I was in Pilzen again if I held my eyes shut. The worn creaking floor and comfy booths make it hard to leave. They are stating that they will be making their own house ale. Stop here for a quick bite or watch the game, its not even five minutes from the thruway. Rock-paper-scissors contest. |
