| azorie (17), Florida | | August 11, 2009 WE have made the 2.25 hour drive to this place many times now, well we visit family there if we have too, lol Even without Family I would go, the selection is better than anything in my local area, JAX. 3 rows of beer, what can I say, its almost as good as Greens in Atlanta. (122e rating d’établissement) | | nearbeer (98), Knoxville, Tennessee | | December 1, 2008 Nice selection for the area at reasonable prices. Most beers available as singles, but no breaking sixes on 10-20% of the selection. | | mhelgason (18), Charlotte, North Carolina | | May 28, 2008 I visited from NC hoping to stock up on as much GA brews as possible, but the local selection was not much better than what I could find in NC. | | kiefdog (101), Tampa, Florida | | May 18, 2008 Visited on 5/17/08. Large liquor store with an excellent selection of cases, singles, 750mls, and 6-packs. Beer is largely organized by geographical region which aids the search through the wide selection. We were able to locate a number of interesting beers here including several varietals of HaandBryggeriet, Petrus, Victory, Left Hand, Corsendonk, Serafijn, La Rulles, 3 Monts, Abbaye des dAulne, Allagash, and many, many more. The Belgian slection seemed the most extensive, although there was a very nice selection of American craft brews as well (including some hard to find seasonals). If you are in the area, be sure to stop by, as you dont know what you might find. | | Beerlando (43), Orlando, Florida | | September 3, 2007 Fairly large liquor store with a very nice beer selection. The 400+/- beer count looked to be about accurate. Not too much that I couldn’t get in Florida, but there were a few gems. Victory, Highland, Terrapin seasonals, Left Hand seasonals, etc. Clean store with a simple layout. 12oz. bottles were only available as 6-packs. Nice, friendly staff that was thrilled to find out I was from RateBeer (many of their beers had RateBeer tags). | | Quake1028 (30), Tampa, Florida | | September 3, 2007 Clean, big store. Nice selection of beers, but wasn’t super impressed. Not sure there are more than 400 bottles there. No 6 pack holders, but that’s a minor complaint. Asked the beer guy if I could break six packs, and he said if he didn’t see me he couldn’t yell at me. Good selection of beers we can’t get in Florida, but again, wasn’t totally blown away. | | NachlamSie (209), Tennessee | | August 22, 2007 I have no real complaints about this place. It’s well organized ,accessible, fairly priced, and has a vast selection. As with most Georgia markets, the focus is primarily on imports, with plenty of obscure stuff I’ve rarely seen, but the U.S. micro selection is commendable. I was happy with my overall experience and can say this was the one-stop beer supershop on my trip wth no real negatives. I’ll most likely go back tomorrow. | | dchmela (52), Orlando, Florida | | July 12, 2007 Very good place in Savannah to get a good selection of beers. I like to stock up on the Terrapins and Sweetwaters (I can’t get them in Florida) when i am there, but the other selection is very tasty, also. | | MartinT (348), Montreal, Quebec | | March 14, 2007 This very good store in the Savannah suburbs has an excellent selection of imports, but the American selection was somewhat disappointing the day I visited. No Terrapin seasonals at all! I guess they don’t get large quantities of them. The warehouse set-up is rather easy to go through, although it may reach clutter in some areas. Overall, a fun beer shopping experience if you are in the area, but don’t expect to see all the Terrapins and Sweetwaters you want at all times. |
