nickmbeer (1), Maryland does not count - explanation | | October 16, 2009 I have been going here since I first got into craft beer. When you first walk in it doesn’t look like much. Once you walk to the back of the store to the beer section you will be more then impressed.
The greatest thing about this store is the service. My favorite days are going in and talking to one of their beer managers "Matt." One of the most knowledgeable people I know and its always a pleasure to chat with him.
They have tastings once a week and also have a beer club that is absolutely amazing!
Overall the best store I’ve ever been to. | | guzzler67 (25), Hanover, Maryland | | May 17, 2008 It had been a while since my last visit here, so I had limited expectations. But as soon as I hit the craft beer section, my eyes got big and could only think wow. Aisles stacked high, full shelves, full coolers, new stuff, hard -to-find stuff and decent prices. Met the guys managing the beers very knowledgable, very friendly, extremely helpful, and eager to get anything they can into the store. Chance they may be expanding, so that will help open more space. They also sponsor beer dinners and tastings. Definitely worth a visit (or revisit). | | beachbum25 (53), Powellville, Maryland | | November 26, 2007 This place had a good selection for such a small store. Had some Belgians & a lot of good local stuff. The best selection in this area. Has a good wine & spirits selection as well so it’s a one stop shop. While your not gonna find super rare stuff here, it will definatly meet your needs. Service was good w/o being overbearing! | | urbnhautebourg (10), Annapolis, Maryland | | September 20, 2007 There is a new beer manager at this place. The old one seemed to stock every available IPA. The new manager has a bit broader horizons and I have noticed an incredible increase in the selection here. While the selection is not "full catalog" the way that Wells is or the Red Barn was, that is fine. The managers seem to have a real passion for the beer and that makes a big difference. | | desurfer (78), Pinellas Park, Florida | | June 18, 2007 Nothing fantastic that I can remember, but plenty more than your typical store. Not the cheapest place either. | | hoplover406 (24), Crofton, Maryland | | April 30, 2007 [ Updated May 31, 2007 ] They have a decent selection of American made micros with a heavy emphasis on the IPA/DIPA. If you go and they don’t have what you are looking for ask Nick. He was really friendly and enthusiastic about beer. I believe he has a good relationship with the distributors which is probably the main reason why they have one of the best beer selections in an otherwise wine loving town. | annapolisbeer (3), San Diego, California does not count - explanation | | February 10, 2007 [ Updated May 17, 2009 ] Hands down BEST Selection in the Annapolis. DFH( limited 750s), Avery, Anderson valley, green flash, Stone, Southern tier, thye still have some . Large selection of micros for a small shop. |
