6 reviews for Parkway Tavern
| wineandbrew (12), Steilacoom, Washington | | November 22, 2009 I like this place and think they do some amazing festivals and are keeping up with the beer scene, defininately one of the places in Tacoma to go have a brew... I will say that if you know people there it will seem more friendly, and the back rooms get a little confined... the food is bar food... | mrplowed (2), Washington does not count - explanation | | April 29, 2008 The Parkway is a great neighborhood pub, and man, I wish it was in my neighborhood. I have been there twice, the first time being for the 2008 barley wine fest. It will now be a regualr stop when I am in the area. A selection to make any beer geek happy and at tavern prices which makes me even happier! | theredhot (2), Tacoma, Washington does not count - explanation | | March 11, 2008 One of the best. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. 20 taps, one of which is a nitro handle, and one of which is a cask handle. Killer brewer’s nights, and free shuffleboard. One of the best pub burgers around. | | bitbucket (56), Kirkland, Washington | | September 1, 2006 First visit for the Day of IPAs. Great friendly neighborhood bar with plenty of tap handles. Didn’t try the food, but I’m wishing it was in my neighborhood. | | after4ever (126), Brier, Washington | | August 20, 2006 Went down for the Day of IPAs. Great setting; quiet street where the north Tacoma neighborhood meets the Stadium District; just up the street from Wright Park. Nice carpentry, great been-there-for-decades feel. Good selection of beers, fun and cool staff, great vibe. I’ll definitely be back. Not sure if I’d drive a great distance to Tacoma just for this place, but it more than holds up its end of the bargain if you’re in town anyway. If you’re local it’s a no-brainer. | | Crit (117), New Westminster, British Columbia | | March 30, 2005 [ Updated September 18, 2008 ] Decent selection of Micros, I was able to get Lagunitas Gnarleywine on tap. Prices are under each tap.Mostly a locals bar, but worth a visit.Free pool in the back. was fairly quiet, even in the evening. |
