March 8, 2009 What a beautiful building, real shame it’s wasted on big-spending yuppies. Probably the biggest selection in Turku, hardly anything rare or unique though. Service is mostly wise guys, sometimes OK. |

July 4, 2007 Classy joint. Reasonable selection of big-name quality international beers. I’ve even had a live pianist. |

September 12, 2005 Pleasant place, with good selection, including real ale. Educated staff on beers, and they do import beers once or twice a year. Their real ale fridge is a bit cold though (going from 7-11C). Own glasses for all own imports. Gets pretty crowded evening time. |

January 25, 2005 Crowded, but still with room to enjoy a beer. Good selection including occasional cask ales. Lacks good local beers though. |

September 12, 2004 One of the widest selection of beers in Finland. |

August 18, 2004 Big, imposing rooms. Partying crowd, if not the most beer-savvy. Staff usually know what beer you’re ordering but not always. Some interesting beers have been there on both of my visits. One of the better beer bars in Finland. |

July 6, 2004 Really a nice place and a reason to visit Turku (are there other reasons?) Kovasiipi is told to have vintage Westvleterens under the desk... |
