| pellegjr (12), Cincinnati, Ohio | | November 21, 2009 Wow. I’ve been to a good deal of Whole Foods and the beer selection is always pretty decent but this was definitely a cut above. In addition to all the expected micro offerings, there was a copious selection of Alesmith, Brewdog, and Mikkeler along with a slew of other semi-rarities (including a snag of Thomas Hardy’s Ale). Not the best selection I’ve ever seen but definitely WAY above par for the average grocery store | | Pipper (27), Ohio | | June 1, 2009 [ Updated June 22, 2009 ] LIke any other Whole Foods with lots of good food and crunchy granola type body care stuff. Decent selection of micros and "specialty" beers. Woman I talked to said they used to carry Three Floyds and that she would check on it to see if they could start bringing it in again. Helpful staff, clean place and a pretty decent selection of Ohio micros as well as outside the borders. Great thing is that they have free Wifi so I was able to get on my ipod and check on rb to make an informed choice between a couple of beers. UPDATE: I’ve been going here on a pretty regular basis after work on my way home and had such a great experience there last night. I had a list of beers I was looking for and the guy was incredibly helpful: if he didn’t have what I was looking for he had alternatives and offered me samples of what I was considering buying. Also had bottles lbehind the counter that were not yet on the market that he let me try as well
(Ithaca Brewing Co. Excelsior! Brute,
brewed with champagne yeast and Sierra
Nevada Kellerweis). Was a huge help and a great time. | | MrBunn (53), Western, Pennsylvania | | April 10, 2009 This place is pretty cool. You can park on the roof, which is a big plus for the boy. Food selection is vintage Whole foods... beer selection is decent, with lots of good micros, some locals and imports. I was as impressed by the selection here as I was at Rozi’s across town. They probably didn’t have near as much, but I wasn’t expecting as much, either. | | fly (190), austin, Tejas, | | March 12, 2009 Maybe I was just lucky, but as I filled a shopping cart, the beer employee there came a struck up a conversation with me. Very helpful and even drew me a map of how to get to Cave du Vin. I got a pretty nice haul. | | Sammy (273), Toronto, Ontario | | September 22, 2008 It may seem surprising to rank a Whole Foods better than average, this is justified by on a Sunday Creighton the buyer being right there, breaking up six-packs on request and running the largest selection of a Whole Foods I have yet see. Good representation of Great Lakes, and also Full Sail, Bells, and some other Michigans. A wine box with dividers available at the cash, with a helper. They are trying. Very clean and fairly well oranized, with selection taking over a stand now of the wine section. The regular stores I would go to were not open as this place was and selling in the area on a Sunday
