Decent selection of beer, some in singles along the back wall - some of which are reasonable and others which are way overpriced. Nice selection of Belgians and foreigns along the side wall and a fair amount of regional and national micros. Nothing that makes it a destination liquor store for me, but if I’m in the area I may stop in.

Ray’s has a good selection and is between work and home, which works for me. The store has a nice layout and what looks to be a solid selection of booze, too. Prices are on the high-end for the area, but fall short of unreasonable. Service is usually there when you need it, and all of the staff seem friendly.

Neat, clean, well organized and stocked. Respectable selection of domestic and foreign beers. Pricing seemed a bit stiff for singles. Beer available in chilled shelves. Staff were pleasant and opened up a new line for me when there was a sudden rush of people checking out. There were some beers I probably would have bought if available in singles vs. 4-packs and 6-packs.

I visited Ray’s at the suggestion of a friend who is a long-time Milwaukee resident. It is a well-organized store with an extensive wine and beer selection. The import selection here is much more interesting than the craft beer selection, although there are many varieties of both. Selection of singles is mostly confined to imports...it seemed to me that most of the US crafts were sold in multipacks. When I first walked through the door, I noticed most of the floor space is devoted to wine, with all beer in coolers along two walls of the store. The store staff greeted me, but didn’t bother me as I scoured through the imported single serves. Unlike some others, this store is clean and well-organized, and in a way, is a reflection of the rather yuppie-schic Wauwatosa neighborhood which houses it (not that there’s anything wrong with that). Overall, I thought the selection was good, but not great and the level of service seemed fine but not great. This is a nice place, but I feel that my mix of Milwaukee liquor stores satisfies my needs. When I want import selection, Discount; when I want US craft selection (stored in dark fridges), then Breeze-Thru; and when I want service, I drive up to Murray’s. While this is a perfectly serviceable store, it just didn’t identify a superlative that would bring me back to this store.

Good selection and one of the top stores in the state. Good discount bin as well where I often see Rochefort making an appearance. Service is very friendly and although not up on their beer knowledge as well as Murrays they do make an effort. Prices are also amongst the best in the state. Well worth the trip.

Nice liquor store with a good selection. Has a few occaisional things you won’t see at Discount. That is the main highlight, so its fun to stop in from time-to-time. They have a good wine selection too.

I have shopped here. MrFacto knows I like it for glasses. The beer selection is nice as is the staff. It is a cool place, but I woudl only visit if I couldn’t make Discount. They have a few interesting beers.

Beer seems to be more expensive here than in other stores in Milwaukee. I picked up some Devil Dancer and Bell’s Batch 7000. I called them and reserved some beer. No problems. Lots of European brews and Midwestern brews.
