August 8, 2009 The architecture and decor are the highlight with the pricing being a close second. Really nice red-brick 1800s hotel which has been fully and rather accurately restored. Gets nasty-crowded on the first Friday of every month, and this is when the service breaks down. Selection is a couple Stone, a couple 4 Peaks, a couple North Coast, a few fillers. |
January 16, 2009 Super low light multi-roomed bistro/cafe/bar in the arts district, easily walkable from downtown. Small 5-6 seat bar, 12 drafts, all solid craft beer, >25 bottles. Food is expensive, simple, small portions, generally good but some dishes looked a little questionable for the prices asked. Nine dollar paninis and all that. Beer prices reasonable. Really liked this place, small, dark, calm, comfortable, quiet, not good for crowds. |
