went on a friday lunch time, very quite place, 3 beers on tap, pale ale, amber ale and a porter (under the whats brewing company name). all are great beers but nothing new, needs a larger selection or at least a couple of seasonals, also had taps of swill but did not take notice of what was in them. service was good by one bar person, rest was very average. got to meet the brewer which was an added bonus. food looked good, did not try any myself but have heard good reports

Well it’s the only place you’ll get anything interesting in Geelong. It’s a nice old bluestone building more-or-less in the middle of town. It’s usually a nice, quiet place for a beer but Friday and Saturday nights are best avoided. They have food, but I’ve never eaten there so can’t comment. Beers are served under the Fitzroy brand in a few places in Melbourne.
