Very busy on a Friday night, well set up with good beers and a nice atmosphere. Pizzas are not very nice and overpriced, but don’t let that turn you away... I don’t know what else to say about this, its a good place, worth checking out.

Tram, train then bus to get there, took me ages to get there but I enjoyed the visit. Five beers were on tap thats including their new seasonal The Chief. Very limited food available but I wasn’t expecting to eat. Even had a quick tour of the brewery thanks to Andrew.

Cool place in the most unlikely of locations. We walked from Moorabbin station and it’s quite a trek, mostly through deserted (after hours) industrial estate which is a bit exciting in itself. You start to wonder if it’s going to be open because of the complete and utter lack of pedestrians or cars to be seen, only to open the door to the brewery and be met with a bustling bar full of people who’ve come from god-knows-where. I like places like that. Anyway inside it’s basically how I envision a lot of American micros - clean and spacious, not trendy and obviously a brewery first and foremost. The bar is a pretty nice setup, not just something cobbled together. Vibe is good, kids welcome, very varied relaxed crowd - not just guys from the local auto wreckers or whatnot. Beers are good and fresh but Growler (clearly their best beer) is readily available elsewhere and the less common beers aren’t quite as exciting. Rusty especially seemed to have some ethyl acetate issues. But on the whole the be

...went down on a Friday night to meet the brothers, and was pleasantly surprised how active it was. Nice guys with alot of knowhow on brewing, and great equipment. Good mix of people, comfortable atmosphere, with the brewery in the background. They had a pizza van there, but I didn’t try it. Sampled all thier beers, had a pot of the Growler, and went away with a growler full of the trickster. $4 pots, good value, and $18 to fill the 2 litre growler, plus a $30 deposit you get back when you return it. Was a cool place in a weird location, but the beers were good, the staff was nice, and it was a friendly drinking atmosphere. Worth visiting, I think these guys are doing a good job at bringing the real brewpub into popularity.
