4 reviews for Belgian Beer Cafe Eureka
| destroye7 (13), Melbourne, Australia | | October 17, 2009 I was in there while it was raining outside in the afternoon. There was a total of 10 customers in the place. Service was extremely slow and didn’t check on us. The waitress came to our table 3 times at my request.
I will be drinking at the bar next time, not a table. Selection is excellent! | | voota (92), Melbourne, Australia | | June 16, 2008 As mullet said, pretty sterile. The beers are good, but nothing you cant get in a lot of places around the city these days. The mussels are pretty tasty though. Staff are frightfully devoid of beer knowledge. I wouldn’t bother. Expensive too | | mullet (133), Melbourne, Australia | | January 27, 2008 [ Updated January 31, 2008 ] I can’t see too much point in going to this place. If you insist on going to a Belgian Beer Cafe you might as well go to Bluestone and sit in the beer garden. Beers are strictly InBev and friends, and there are a bunch of other places you could get all of those beers plus a bunch more. Very corporate crowd, which isn’t surprising given the location. Not a terrible place or anything, just doesn’t really offer anything to make it worth the effort. | exlex (1), , Australia does not count - explanation | | January 24, 2008 The more sophisticated cousin of the Belgian Beer Cafe Bluestone. A more enjoyable place to really get to know the many different Belgian beers with friendly staff on hand to tell you all you need to know about the unusual styles. A very enjoyable experience overall. Am looking forward to the big beer tasting! |
