August 21, 2009 Based in the docklands area, it’s what you expect for a JS Brewhouse. There was just the one JS beer available here - Docklands Ale and the rest is the usual JS Range. This place was dead quiet when I visited on a week night. |

July 20, 2009 Not too sure about this place, the beers are good enough, the food is ok, the location is pretty spectacular... but for me it’s not really a place I could see myself enjoying more than once. Like the James Squire beers, its a bit fake, and expensive I guess. Staff knew little to nothing about the beers too. |

January 15, 2008 Not a big fan of this place but it’s definitely the only place of interest in the Docklands. Cavernous, touristy joint not unlike the one in Sydney. They’ve had Highwayman there but I’ve never seen Speculator. Not sure if they do the Craic. Anyway I think the beer selection is more limited than the other location, it’s out of the way and not as nice a place to drink. |

April 2, 2006 I’ve only added this place because of the Squires connection. Great location in the up and coming harbour precinct in the Docklands but this is a sorry excuse for a brew pub. They had 2 or 3 house brews but the few I had were very much on the bland, safe side. Food was very disappointing (deep fried snitzchel?) and service marginally better. |
