Across the street from where I work. Easy to get there. The food seems expensive but I didn’t try it, so I didn’t rate it. The beer selection is impressive, pages and pages of beer. They even have a small selection of ciders. Worth going for sure!

It has an ’RSL’ feel to the place, but the focus is on VIC craft beers which they do well. The service is excellent and knowledgeable in what they serve. The beers available on tap are decent, and the parma I had was pretty good. Good value overall and they show great support for the Victorian micros.

want to like this place more than I do. It is trying hard to differentiate itself, but the daggy name and logo do little to help. Range of beer is good, food isgood and it is relaxed, but it is just daggy, not cool at all. But the beers are good andnot bad value, $10 pints of microbrew is good value.

Weird place. Love the concept (Vic-only beers) but it’s certainly not how I would execute it myself. There are a number of really classy bars/restaurants in this part of the CBD but this isn’t one of them. It’s like a little bit of zone 3 come to the city. That said, it’s a pretty nice, relaxed place for a beer. Tap selection is usually pretty good and seems to change around a bit. The only place with any Otway Estate beers outside the brewery as far as I know. The interesting beers are all $5 which is pretty exy, but perhaps the glasses are bigger than pots, I forget. The bottled list is frustratingly poor and overpriced, stick to the taps. I’ve never tried the parmas but I presume they’d be quite good (if that’s your thing). Service is very friendly and eager but not particularly knowledgeable. Not a personal favourite, but you’d have to include it in any CBD pub crawl - you’ll always find something interesting on tap.
