8/5/2007 7:53:20 AM, sunday, august 05, 2007 It is a warehouse so don’t expect much ambiance. Remarkable selection and extremely nice staff (Jan especially) make this my favorite place to buy beer in Belgium. They also have a nice selection of genevers.
8/21/2006 7:18:15 AM, monday, august 21, 2006 Visited in august 2006, but I was just a bit disappointed. No Fantome, no Westvleteren, very little micro’s overall. Especially the Wallon beers are not available. Good shop, but I prefer Grobbendonk.
3/16/2006 10:04:08 AM, thursday, march 16, 2006 This is one of the very best places to buy beer in Belgium. They stock around 650-700 beers approx. and this includes also some of the more rare stuff (No Fantome or Westvleteren beers any more, though). Some Wallonian microbrews are missing. Many .75 bottles, some larger bottles (1.5 liters). No aged beers (exception: some old Chimays eventually to be found somewhere in the dark corners). They also sell some gift packs. Prices are ok; don’t forget to print out your 5 Euro discount voucher from their website before you go there (applicable if you buy specialty beers worth more than 50 Euro).
10/27/2005 5:44:04 AM, thursday, october 27, 2005 [ Updated tuesday, april 01, 2008 ] By far the best Dranken Markt I have been to in Belgium and actually the place I use for buying beers for my shop! The selection is huge, it’s difficult to find beers in Belgium you can’t get here. The service is outstanding as well, jan is the coolest and most funny guy! Make sure to say hello from the Danes if you go here!
4/30/2005 7:36:44 AM, saturday, april 30, 2005 Lots and lots of Belgian beers. I bought about 30 different beers I never had before including 4 or 5 Lambic. Gotta watch the expiring dat of all beers though.
